I don't think most here expect to see Dak go anywhere. He's smart enough to know he is the luckiest man in football to be the Cowboys quarterback.
But he's just not ready for big money, and perhaps by incentivizing his contract, he can get the big money while getting better. He deserves more than he's been paid, but he's just not at the point at which he deserves to automatically receive the big money when he has failed to deliver so often.
SO, guarantee him $20 million per year for two years, and give him an additional $5 million for winning the division. Give him an additional $2 million for each playoff win if he starts and wins. And $6 million if he wins the Super Bowl as the starter.
Dak seems to believe that he is entitled to a huge contract, but he hasn't earned one.
I just think it's only fair that he be given the opportunity to earn what he's asking for while showing us that he isn't out for a free ride.
This would eliminate the statistical battle, and put the onus on him to deliver.
I think it's fair.

LOLLLLLLLL

It’s so great how the more time passes, the more the anti-Dak crowd exposes themselves as know-nothing buffoons with the collective IQ of an aerosol can.

One idiotic thread at a time.
:lmao2:

I’m sure the CZ members who were on the fence about Dak are noticing.

One side says things like, “We should pay market value to keep our young, productive, durable QB because it’s the most important position and it’s nearly impossible to win in the NFL without strong QB play.”

The other side says things like, “DURRRRR LET’S JUST OFFER $20 MIL PLUS INCENTIVES!!! THAT’LL DO IT!!!”

That is fair, and logical lol , but that isnt going to happen.
players dont really want to earn the money, just pay them big and maybe they earn it and maybe they dont lol.
Dez got 80 million for 2015-2018 did he earn it??? no he didnt.

Why even offer 20M guaranteed?

How about

1M for every win during the season
5m for every playoff win
And another bonus of 10m if he wins the super bowl

I mean, if he goes undefeated and wins the super bowl he can make over 40m this year

Sounds fair

Do you not think both sides are are already talking about something better than that?

Maybe the Cowboys just aren't the team for you buddy. Time to move on. Dak is going to be here for a while. 35 million is what he is getting.

This is something that eventually needs to be commonplace in all sports.

Owners need to “set the market” THIS WAY. Basketball. Baseball etc.
