Yep. Cut him. We should do everything necessary to tank this year. And next. For that matter...from now on. We picked up our durable, hard-working, intelligent, accurate and forward-minded QB at the END OF THE 4TH ROUND...dang right it's time to move on from him.
How do I know it's time to move on from him? Well, obviously, it's got nothing to do with his overall performance on the field or his ability to survive an entirely incompetent coaching squad. It's got nothing to do with having to replace a very fan favorite QB in Romo (I'm part of that group). It's got nothing to do with his upward trending play on the field or his ability to lead other men. It's got nothing to do with him never even broaching the subject of his pay without being prompted in the 4 years he was paid relative pennies compared to his contemporaries. It's time to move on because I heard some click-seeking talking heads on the internet throw that possibility out. Not only that, I'm part of a discussion group with a vocal minority of posters who want him gone...and want him gone so passionately...that I guess I should want to move on from him to.
I wasn't convinced by the thousands of other comments saying basically the same thing. I wasn't convinced at the dozens of other commentators trying to just attach their name to the Cowboys and Dak because they were seeking likes and shares. It was the creation of this thread. This is the one that did it.
Time to move on.
