Haha had to do it sorry.

https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2020/may/22/report-former-washington-state-quarterback-ryan-le/

According to a booking report filed by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Leaf was charged with domestic battery[snip]
was arrested by the Palm Desert Police Department around 2 p.m. Leaf was then booked into jail at 3:32 p.m., according to the report.

Bail for Leaf was set at at $5,000. He was still in custody when this story was posted and no further details about what may have led to the reported dispute are available. Leaf is set to appear in court at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Leaf had all the physical talent in the world, but couldn’t handle the pressure of being a starting NFL QB.

Saw him in an interview last week talking about his career.

he was really a decent QB in college and I never saw why he bombed except he didn't read defenses well and was very non-mobile.

That's enough to fail at that level. Hope things improve.

I have been in domestic arguments with the cops called and people lie about it to the cops. Then they get arrested and have to serve some time like Leaf is doing and they learn not to do that again.

Its a process. The cops are so concerned about their jobs, they just handcuff you and book you and do their job. People think cops are like Hawaii Five Oh. It ain't. They could care less.

The cops just want there jobs and benefits and some girlfriend on the side to help them forget their wife and kids at home. My dad was in the FBI. I knew what was going on with him as I grew older.

It never changes.

Leaf was as physically gifted as any passing QB I've ever seen, coming out of WSU. The reason he failed has more to do with the situation he got drafted into and injury, more then anything, IMO.

Oh, no! Not again. It's easy to make fun of Ryan Leaf as the biggest draft bust in NFL history. During his short stint with the Cowboys, I saw some nice abilities in him and was hoping for him to turn it around. I just can't root for another human being to fail. So then after going to prison, I saw a show about him where he was getting his life together, so of course I rooted for him. I honestly don't think he's a bad guy. He has problems and then makes really dumb choices. I was hoping for him to get a good life together. I feel totally bad for him. I'm not absolving him of guilt if he's indeed done this. I'm only saying I feel really disappointed and bad for the guy.

Didn't Leaf have his life seemingly turned around and had a job covering college football on tv? What an idiot. He just doesn't seem like a good person.

He got caught stealing prescription drugs out of a Friend's bathroom.

And it was like the 2nd time for him.

He admits things were too easy for him.

Imagine?

By the time he got the Cowboys he had a weird injury to his wrist where a ligament would pop out of place on some of his throws. He had no consistency to his throws due to that issue. He wouldn't get surgery for it for fear that the surgery would actually be a career ender. Seems that happened anyway.

Never could understand why a man has to put his hands on a woman in order to inflict pain.
