The article says this has nothing to do with Prescott's contract negotiations and does give him credit for the Playoff Wildcard win vs Seattle. What is does say is that on Several Occasions, Dak hasnt always lived up to the moment in several crucial games recently.

It's called being clutch. Romo had several moments in his career where he was clutch as a QB... not so much as a holder. :muttley:
Dak could greatly improve his reputation with the fans if he could become known for being a clutch QB like Romo.

Nope, this is dumb. Dak has led the NFL in last drive comebacks since he came into the NFL. And he played well in all 3 playoff games.

Like the rest of the team, he played poorly in ONE big game in Philly. Ironically, both the Rams game and Commanders game that sandwiched the PHilly game were equally as important at the time. Dak balled out in both those games.

Do we need to mention that Dak had a shoulder injury for the Philly game and didnt practice all week leading up to it?

Anything else you need instantly debunked? :lmao::lmao2:

Yeah, Dak led comebacks against some awful teams. 8-8 comebacks. If his shoulder was hurt so bad, the knucklehead should have not been in the game. hee-hee...giggle...hee-hee...lol...lol

Dak sealed the game for us against seattle in the playoffs. We would have won in 2016 as well if byron jones was actually covering someone.

Well, then maybe Dak should take less pay so that the Boyz could get a shut down corner.

He did take less. for 4 years. Not dak's fault we couldn't take advantage of it because of romo's terrible extension and other dead money.

How many times can you tell the same lie and then be caught in it? You must have been a very interesting child to try to discipline...

“That sums up Dak Prescott,” Cowboys guard Zack Martin said. “He’s going to do whatever it takes to help us win. Any time you see your quarterback throwing his body around like that to do whatever he can to help us win it’s inspiring.

“He’s a winner. I wouldn’t want anyone else being our quarterback.”

Since 1994, which is as far back as Pro Football Reference goes on this particular stat, Prescott leads the league in career passer rating when tied or trailing by eight points or fewer in the fourth quarter or overtime.

He has a 109.7 passer rating in that situation, leading all quarterbacks who have at least 100 attempts when tied or trailing by one score in the fourth quarter or overtime. In fact, no other quarterback has a passer rating above 100 with Andrew Luck (97.7), Romo (95.4), Russell Wilson (93.8), Ben Roethlisberger (93.3) and Drew Brees (92.4) trailing.

So, it's Romo's fault now? If that is the case, then don't you think that if Dak learned from that, he would not want that to happen? He wants to take a big chunk of money from the "team" like you are saying Romo did. Make the same mistake? Well, if Dak does never win a SB, at least he has his coin...same as Romo, however, Romo was 10 time the QB that Dak is.
