The two guys getting the most snaps and drawing the top two threats
I think you could see Awuzie at Safety spots in some subpackages. I dont think it will be a full blown position change. However, it they do move him around the defense I dont they would have him lined up against the top guys most often.Great thread since it really could be two out of any four or five players.
I would pick Diggs for sure and Worley as the experienced guy. Jourdan Lewis (and Reggie Robinson to a point) are the wildcards and I'm assuming Awuzie is a Safety now. If not, I would pick Diggs and Awuzie.
I think there is a very good chance Diggs winds up our best CB this year
How press man intensive do they want to be THIS year. If they really intend to move directly to that style of coverage, then you are spot on hereGuessing Diggs and Worley early on (assuming CZ favorite #24 moves to hybrid safety (because that's what you do with top corners))....then Diggs and Reggie later on.
I think its gonna be about who is playing well and has earned it rather than the Garrett way of these are the starters and that's that. Cant lose job. Nice way to keep them on their toes.
Kind of wild with CB's. You have guys like Peters and Darby that were complete studs as rookies. Then you have guys like Baker that were historically badTotally agree, I think that is a question of when and not if.
No matter what, he is way too talented to keep off the field. IMO its only a question of how steep his learning curve is.
Other than 2nd and 4th round picks, guys like Worley and Smith are bigger guys. How press man intensive do they want to be THIS year. If they really intend to move directly to that style of coverage, then you are spot on here
Kind of a smart a answer, but that's the same answer that popped into my head. I just don't know how to pick at this point. If I had to guess I would pick Diggs and Awuzie, but Diggs is a rookie, and therefore hard to predict, and Awuzie has been discussed as a potential candidate to be moved to safety. Plus, I don't know that Brown and Lewis are that much behind Awuzie anyway, if at all. Worley might fit into the mix as well. The two guys getting the most snaps and drawing the top two threats

Canady is a good #5/#6. ST guy that could hold of pressed onto defense due to injury. He decent tape at CB with Baltimore when he played last year. If we keep that type of CB, I prefer him to GoodwinOther than 2nd and 4th round picks, guys like Worley and Smith are bigger guys.
Not sure about guys like Canady, etc...
Seems they are pretty serious about the transition.
I dont see 24 or 27 back next year.
That's where the money is at, like that take.Diggs
Brown
It's the coaching staff's problem. I won't pretend to be able to make those decisions at this point. I have faith that the coaches will make the right decision in those matters once their due diligence has had time to occur. The two guys getting the most snaps and drawing the top two threats
