The results he had pretty much said he was above average. And that's if you're a Cowboy fan. Most non-Cowboy fans would probably say he's worse than above average.
Living in the northeast most fans never worried about us with romo at the helm. I think they downplayed him because of some of his early career blunders. But in the end they were right.

bahahahahahhahahahahahhahhahaha.
I wrote about this last year. There is a ridiculous bias towards Cowboys players year after year after year.... not negative, but positive. We always seem to have some of the best talent. Smith is an amazing LB, Vander Esch, amazing, Byron Jones is a top corner(yeah right) best oline in football every year, How is it that Joe Looney was a decent player(a back up), comes to Cowboys gets to start an entire season due to fredbeard being out, and all the sudden looney is a top olineman in the league?? this crap happens all the time. So is it now surprising to here this garbage about Dak? PULEASE. Just another example of a Cowboys player being propped up because they are on national TV and the topic of conversation all the time on sports shows all year long.
Its actually not hard to understand. He's a quarterback. MVP usually goes to quarterbacks. PFF ratings are more favorable to quarterbacks. Its really just a two man race. Wentz and Dak......I guess Zeke could probably be in the discussion but he's not a quarterback.

Well, that is obviously already true,, never understood the comparison between the two players, very vastly different.
Only similarity between the two, was trying to get a cap break on the cheap.
Romo didn't have to do anything to get paid top dollar twice. Tbh its criminal jerry hasn't gotten this deal done yet.

You romosexuals just be gassin him like hes a god when he wasn't even close. Dak has already hit Romo's ceiling
I agree. I was a Romo fan but Romosexuals have made me regret my fandom. I was the one on here always fighting with these same people about how good Romo was. But even then I wasn't silly enough to say he was the best in the league or top 5. I'm not gonna fault him for not having a Super Bowl because he had Jason Garrett and Wade Philips as his head coaches. But that's no excuse for his lack of playoff visits. Like you said, Dak has already hit Romo's ceiling in 4 years. Next step is to actually be one of the best in the league.

Right. I use to argue about it but I can't argue against results. His career represents what he was. What do I look like arguing against that?

Romo’s ceiling was an mvp candidate and all-pro. Meanwhile Dak in his “best season”, cant even lead this team to the playoffs.

But lets not derail. Is PFF credible or not. Just keeping tabs on your hypocrisy

Should have is past tense, and I agree, there was a time, what everyone is neglecting is that fact.
Big mistake not getting Dak signed when the price could have been around 32,, now trying to stand firm so you prove a point that your not going to overpay underachieving talent is going to bite you.

:laugh::laugh:

Romo's ceiling was MVP candidate? That's not your ceiling if you only have one year out of your career where you are a MVP candidate lol....usually MVP candidates have more than one year of playing like a MVP.

Yep. Jerry is trying to win a contract dispute when his shot to win it was last year. Now he's trying to make up for it and it looks crazy.

Yes pff is credible. Romo a mvp candidate and 2nd team all pro when he was carried by an 1800 yard rusher? ok.........1 time in his 11th season lol.

I was tellin ppl last year dak was gonna break out. Our o line was trash in 2018 in 2019 we were getting fredbeard back and now dak had a whole offseason with coop and gallup a solidified #1, #2. With the addition of Randall Cobb who if stayed healthy was better than beasley. I could see the writing on the wall jerry is a moron
