We have been saying this all along and are now Vindicated. He wasn’t worth elite money and he and his agent blinked first. thank God Jerry held strong!

draft another QB in the first round next year and let Dakota go to the next team without a massive undeserved contract

........” and don’t forget we told you so”. :lmao2:

Yeah, you're right. You have no idea how quickly money can disappear.
Lol. Because the Jones' are a bunch of cray spenders with no guaranteed income at all that have zero business expertise that haven't turned a multi-million dollar venture into a multi-billion dollar venture.

I guess I should listen to you.

He's getting paid "elite" money this year no matter what.

uhhh.....nothing is locked up, if he doesn’t want to play he doesn’t have to, signed paper or not. The only thing is now he has $30m. I’m glad Daks getting money he already earned it.
he wont get any money unless he plays lol.
he does not have to play, but he only gets paid for games he plays in , unless he is injured while playing.

he could hold out early in a few games, but there would be no point to that.
And he does not want dalton to play in a season game.

Oh yeah... he can't hold out and I don't understand why peeps here can't get that.
There are rules for the tag.

HE was NEVER holding out. I been saying that the entire time. All the while, the media turds on radio and TV kept spouting off nonsense about a Dak Holdout. ESPN might be the biggest purveyor of garbage. If espn , Colin cowturd says it, there's a great chance its not true. In fact, this means he will be signing his longterm deal very quickly. He had to sign the tender as a formality. So after he signs Monday, I think they will announce a long term deal by weeks end. They wont let it linger. Otherwise there's no reason for him to sign the tender Monday. SO as I been sayin, he was never leaving Dallas or holding out.

He wouldn't let Rush play 1 single down in fear of having him being shown up.
LOL...Dalton for Dak is and will be a daily nightmare for Prescott!!!
And we all know how well he does under pressure don't we now.....:omg:

and i think he will play out the entire one year under this franchise tag too. ...and it's a big risky gamble in hopes that not a serious injury will occur ala Alex Smith.

but not using the contract as leverage per holdout must show how important it is for the QB commander of not
only the offense but the leading core of the entire team to be here early and present to start and learn
a new coaching regime and system.

i'm not confident a new contract will be hammered out by camp opening or even during camp.

 If no deal by July 15, they can't negotiate again until after the 2020 season.

Not surprising. Still think a deal gets done. Dak showing he’s gonna sign tender and play. Not holding out so now up to cowboys for demands
in fact, the reason he's signing the tender on Monday is thats the first Hurdle before signing the longer deal. THIS is a great sign. Means they are very sure of a deal being struck...otherwise why sign the tender? This is great.

THINK about it. Why sign the tender Monday unless your pretty dang sure a longer deal is imminent? Thats the only real reason you do this. Its just a formality, a first hurdle. This BS the media kept saying was all fake. He isnt selfish and was NEVER going to not be here. I called BS immediately when ESPN started talking smack.

If they do, the Joneses should go bankrupt.
They already blew this deal by giving Dak the exclusive tag rather than the non-exclusive.
They could have made money on Dak potentially.
Maybe you’ll go away when they do.

Does he have to be physically present to sign? Maybe he was going to be in town anyway and this will keep him from having to come at the last minute if they can’t work out a deal? Anybody? Still haven’t heard anyone give a reason why he would sign earlier than he has to. To me it seems like great news... Dak is throwing down the gauntlet and saying I’ll happily play on the tag unless you show me the money.
To me it says negotiations are over, he will just play on the tag, which is what I think he wanted.
he gets more guaranteed money by playing on the tag 1 or 2 years, and then signing a contract which will have more G money lol.
Dak is in full control now. He only has to avoid injury, and he needs to play well for the cowboys to want to sign him next year.
