What I like about the 401(k). You can actually take money out of your paycheck and actually pay less taxes take home more money and actually save money. At the same time. Do you shoe is when you’re old enough to collect it you get slammed with taxes then. But I want if you live in Florida and there’s no payroll taxes if you could have the 401(k) clean without taxes. Do I explain that right
absolutely, pre-tax deduction so it is not taxed.
always contribute at least what your employer matches and hopefully up to yearly max.

and yea it is a mess if you change jobs and gotta transfer it quickly or whatever.
if you get laid off and gotta withdraw it they tax and penalize you like you stole it.

but it is a heck of a lot better plan than surviving off of social security alone.

Don't pool cleaners have those long poles. I suppose she couldn't use it as a weapon? Regardless there were certainly rules in place before she took this job. IE make sure the owner knows she is on the way and the DOGS are locked away or inside the home. They will settle but this just smells like a money grab. Cause well...IT IS.
So was his DV case. Was a attempted money grab that ended in suspension.

I'm sure he's gonna take a hit on this one.

One thing on his side though is that it sounds like it was in his fenced in back yard, so the dogs really were not running "free".
The argument will be was the agreement with the pool company for them to come to the front door and tell him (whoever was watching the house) that they were ready to clean the pool, so he could bring his dogs inside.
Or, did the pool company have a set day or time range that they missed?

He's still gonna pay, but that would be the argument.

yup, it's just about the money amount.
this chick has google and knows the deal he signed.
she prolly doesn't know he has only collected 8m thus far, lol.
She could live on 8 mil. lol. If she had surgery then it wasn’t a little nip.

Elderly lady in Oklahoma City was killed by her neighbor’s two pit bulls.

The owner got jail time.

I remember having a discussion
And bulldogs are the same way. Pit bulls.
I remember 2 or 3 years ago on this very site I was arguing with somebody who was telling me that labs and golden retrievers were just as dangerous as pitt bulls and rottweilers.

While any untrained dog is a potential problem, only certain breeds have an inherent viciousness in them. Including pit bull and rotts

Yes but not the first time the dogs bit someone on property.

You mean Elliot. And it don’t matter. He is responsible. They will also come get his dogs and quarantine them and make sure they aren’t mean.

I agree he is reponsible. But It may not be that simple. Our landscaper and pool company do not show up on the same day/time every week...so they can show up and start working without me knowing that they are there. The landscaper is not much of a problem because you can hear them as soon as they start. However, the pool guys can come and go without us knowing...unless we see them out the window.

And I know a lot of people that have both and they are big babies. All in how you raise them. They have it in them but some look scary.

I agree. Usually they say they are coming on a Thursday every month. No time table.

As a fellow Rottweiler owner, this kind of thing terrifies me.

My 100-lb. boy loves people and still does, but I rescued a female and she goes after people (bug guy, pool guy, gardeners) and it has rubbed off on him some.

I've met some great Pits and Rotts......but their owners sometimes say silly crap like that.

Take the women jogger a few years ago, whos pits turned on her an literally ate her. Sorry, Lassie, or Golden is not doing that...ever.

But really its not just that more are Pitts and Rotts are trained a certain way, its also that they are just so good at killing.
Poodles could have the same number of bites, but who cares.

I could be wrong here but if the dog(s) is fenced with a warning sign ( such beware of dogs) does that not legally protect the owner?

Could hurt the owner as it shows the owner is aware his dogs are dangerous. So if zeke scheduled pool cleaning at 2pm and they show up on time then its his fault the dogs were not put up.

There are like 14 breeds considered dangerous.
It's quite a list and probably fair.

I'm on my 3rd pit but have also had dobermans and rotts and german shepards growing up.
I end up with pits now because I only do rescues, they are always available at the shelter for near free and I know I can handle them.

The meanest dog I ever had was a dalmation of an ex-college GF. We had to give that dog away to someone out in the country lol.

I had a rot and Doberman mix. Beautiful dog. But was huge. 100 pounds after 1 years old. Loved people and kids but wanted to play and would play hard. Had to give him away to a family with a lot of property and kids. Always think of Zeus. I was young and had no business having a dog like that.

My pitbull harasses the pool dude to be pet. lol.
She is usually indoors but the pool guy comes and goes as he pleases so occasionally catches her in the yard.,

Since he is usually armed with a water hose and 3-4 four foot long skimmer I doubt he's ever been concerned.
We've had a lot of subbed-in pool folks out though and I could see that being an issue if it were a smaller, scared of dogs person.
My dog was taught to hunt so she will nip your ankles if you run, lol.
There is no way I'd clean a pool with a pitbull nearby that I did not know. Some breeds are simply not to be messed with. I'm sure your dog is perfectly friendly, but statistically speaking for the pool guy its high risk.
