Here's the post that started this ............

Remember...........like I said, every story has 2 sides (LOL)

We reached out to the Frisco Police Dept. over the allegations ... and a spokesperson said animal services did respond to an incident at Elliott's home on March 11, but the spokesperson says no criminal charges were filed.

And AV response........
Regardless if they were involved or not, they wouldn’t arrest him for the dog bite. Dog bites are civil issues not criminal.
Unless he knew the dogs were vicious, or at the very least, untrustworthy, AV is correct.

Here is a better one that is specific to Texas. I guess there can be charges if it is proven he knew the dog was dangerous. I stand corrected. Dog bites in Texas typically amount to absolutely nothing since there isn’t strict liability and you have the one bite rule to where dog owners are rarely held accountable civilly either.

Zeke should have just stayed off of Twitter.

Why????? (LOL)

8-8 and missed the playoffs. Didn’t show up in the season finale for the 2nd straight year. He was on the milk carton until this incident.

so he is out of the spot light and you whine about that. As you whine now that some unfortunate accident happens.

My wife got bit last year. Cost us thousands of dollars. Lawyers wouldn’t even touch the case. Nothing we could do.
Really? I would've thought you could sue their homeowner's insurance....or were they not homeowners?

Texas does not have strict liability for dog bites. You essentially get a free bite as a dog owner. After that then you could be held accountable if you can prove the owner knew the dog was dangerous.

I’m an animal lover but I would absolutely love to have a gun on me if a pit bull came at me, especially someone like zekes who never takes responsibility for his own actions and never seems to learn his lesson.

Pretty sure he wouldn’t just let if fly and say “some people” if he came home to his three dead dogs. Then again, I wouldn’t doubt if he treats them Michael Vick style and wouldn’t even care, just go get some new ones as if nothing happened.

But someone can probably jump from a moving vehicle, land on your lawn and break his leg, and you'd be liable. lol

Hmmmm .......not sure how to read this it appears he's saying she got nothing. Either way....interesting.

And yet, for some reason, Zeke would probably object to this same rationale being applied to everyone in America’s economic system.

It was a rottie and a couple of bulldogs, wasn't it? As far as I know, bulldogs aren't known to be generally vicious, but rottweilers sometimes are.

Right. Doesn’t make a lick of sense.

Here I was googling average settlements for dog bites and thinking my wife just earned us a $35k lottery ticket and lawyers were like not so fast. Shut that down real quick. Oh well.

I'll say it again........your behavior toward a professional athlete in which you have no personal connection is odd (LOL). 30+ years following NFL.....never seen such personal dislike/hate toward a player.
