If Dak sees this year isn't going well, will he give up?

With Dak playing under the franchise tag in 2020, he faces the prospect of not having to worry about being tagged again if 2020 is a bad year for him. He likely wouldn't have to worry about contract negotiations, either.
He would likely be released at the end of the season and be a true free agent.
Dak has everything to gain, but also everything to lose.
So it begs the question, how will he respond to pressure?
With McCarthy in his first season, and Kellen Moore in his 2nd, the shakeup of the squad has to bear on his mind as to how they will respond.
One thing is certain; Dak will be under pressure in 2020. He will either perform well, or he will be unemployed by the end of the season.
If things start to go badly for the team, and him as well, do you think he will just give up and be ready to move on?

The only thing holding Dak back is the pandemic.

No practices, no prep with his new coaches, etc.

There are a million reasons why Dallas will offer him a 2nd tag in 2021.

By all accounts, the cap will be going down with losses in renenue across the board.

But unless other teams stopped paying their QBs which is unlikely..

Dak still gets the average of the top 5 QBs?

That still is affordable if need be.

But the issue is Dak must win.

Like Garrett did not receive an extension in 2019..

Dak faces the same situation unless he agrees to a 4 or 5 year deal.

It's all ahead and alot more.

I expected a lot of responses like this. I am not bashing Dak, but apparently unless you are kissing his feet, it's considered bashing.
But this is a legitimate question.
Dak seems to have a history of "reeling it in" when he thinks he can't win.

I'm more concerned about Dak seeing his shadow and going back into his hole. We'd have another season gone to waste.

Edit: And also curious if a frog does bump his butt every time he goes to hopping.
 
If you put Leeblair and Pappydog in the same room together. And let them fight their frustrations out over their hate for Dak. Who will come out the winner? Will there be a winner?

Or will they combine their hate and make a super anti Dak poster.....Lappy-Dog...a goofy product that could rival Rowdy...
