Sounds about right. If Dak really is asking for a Mahomesque contract, I can see the plug being pulled and letting Andy run with it.

On Monday you start a thread saying we need more threads .....and then start this. I love these WELL-KNOWN MEMBERS
Leave him be. He's retired and drinks! :lmao:

....And we love these rookie members.
What is your deal with that? Its nonsensical. Are you under the impression that posters are giving themselves that designation or are you just ridiculously thinking that it makes some kind of point?
Yes.

It's a designation the website automatically gives to members who reach a certain post count. It means nothing more than that, so what do you think you are accomplishing by reacting to it as you are?
He's a soccer fan.....I forgive his ignorance. Lol

No it isnt, there are a number around 20,000 post that haven't been given the designation.

1) Pretty sure we already have lots of fans yelling for Dalton.

2) Guessing if we start 5-5 or worse and the blame can be pin pointed on Dak and not the defense, a critical RB fumble, dropped passes, etc

Dak was second in the league to Winston in dropped INTs by DBs according to one publication and third with Winston number 1. For all the "dropped passes" that Dak fan boys blame the WRs for, they seem to miss the top 3 ranked QB Dak, in one's the DBs drop for INTs. Might as well blame Cooper for Dak, even though we saw how Dak played before Cooper even got here.

lol- try a little common sense. There are other designations at other post counts. And, I think there may be a way to make your own, but do you think a bunch of us had a meeting and decided to become the "well known member" club? lol hell, if you pay attention you will find a lot of people with the same designation don't even get along very well.

By the way, did you give yourself the "active member" designation.

Last season 33 QB's had 200 or more attempts. Dalton was ranked 32nd in passer rating.

Only Jamis Winston threw more pick sixes. Dalton was ranked 30th in completion percentage, 25th in INT percentage, 29th in yards per attempt, 32nd in TD percentage.

Last season Andy Dalton wasn't the lone bright spot on a lousy offense, he pretty much personified that lousy offense. he has steadily declined over the past three seasons and all I see in him is the next Cassel, Weeden, Orton, whatever.....

The 33 year old Andy Dalton version has been beaten up over the past 2-3 seasons. He's missed twice as many games over the past two seasons than he did in the previous seven.

I don't understand why he would be considered quality.

Well, if you put it that way, he sounds like a banged up Romo.

In my opinion, Andy is a quality QB. I like Dak and I believe he will be a Cowboy for a long time. However, I've been an Andy fan for years. Here's my question, if Dak doesn't sign an extension and struggles a bit early in the season, how long until,
1. The fans start yelling for Dalton?
2. How long until MM or Jerry pull the plug on Dak?
Dak would really have to fold before they pulled him out for more than a series or two.
Just don't see it happening.

LOL.......they're looking for change to replace Dak, quality be damned, yet they wanna trade him for a 1 round pick +.

I don't know about that, Tony Romo was getting hurt a lot but when he was in there it seemed like he could still perform at a high level. Tony's skill level didn't deteriorate, just his durability. With Dalton, it seems like both. I mean, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Dalton will shock me. I'm not trying to be malicious towards him, just trying to give an honest assessment.

I would prefer to see one of our younger QB's step up like Romo and Dak when their times came.

starting 3-5 again with this offensive weapons and a new staff..i can see the staff might be having some talks..

I could see if we are in it down the stretch but the offensive once again cant score points, sometimes a change is needed to do anything to save game or a season.. why is dak bulletproof? NO used all 3 Qbs last year...

for sure Dalton would have been called in leaving the locker room 2nd half last philly game..

Dalton won't play a snap unless Dak is injured or we're winning by 21+ in the 4th quarter.

I love the signing because he's a tenured QB backing up Dak and not a bargain bin UDFA, but Dak is the leader of this team and isn't going anywhere.

What a stupid thread. Dak is a top 10 quarterback. We have weapons all over the field offensively. The only way Dak will be replaced by Dalton is if there is an injury. Hurts has a better chance of replacing Wince in Philthy.

LOL yeah its clear. I'd say mid-season and if we are close to getting eliminated from playoffs. Sort of like Marcus Mariota 2019 sucking, allowing Tannehill to take over. The yelling already started. It will intensify after the 1st interception, every 3 and out and heck even after every incompletion.
You are comparing Dak to Mariota? Troll alert!!!!!
