Read and understand! IF, it doesn't look like he's gonna sign.......comprende?

Gee I said IF also......comprehend ! I'll just go with Dalton who got fired for a QB with zero NFL snaps, signed for a CHEAP 1 year BACKUP QB contract who will make 28 mil less than Prescott on the tag and in the real world the Cowboys aren't going to bench 31 mil for 3 mil.

You said, of a long term contract is signed. The question was IF it isn't signed and it looks like he won't be back

I don't think there's anyway they do that. That would intentionally kill his value and I doubt he'd even want to be retained.

Yep, it's intentionally killing his value. It's hardball. I could see him being pissed and not wanting to come back. But with his value killed, the Cowboys may still give him his best offer. Then he can cut off his nose to spite his face, or sign the offer.

The reading comprehension is very low amongst many of you! Read the damn question....
:lmao2:
Damn bro my bad

1. Dallas Cowboys Fans always scream for the Back-Up QB. This is tradition and an original sin from Cowboy infant days.

2. Dalton is not that QB anymore. I believe if Dak tanks DiNucci and whomever MM coaches up will start.

I would have had more respect for Dalton if he came out and stated "I am here to Start!"...It appears he's taken a sebatical year as a backup. Nothing wrong with that but having some magical season where those 32 year old legs make that Rifle consistently fire for 16 games plus is foolish thinking.
We can't hide Dalton from Donald, Brockets, Ramsey and Rapp. Sooner or later he'll have to make plays. Dalton isn't that dude anymore

Is that enough content mfer:lmao2:

You are an honest broker. These Dak Haters have on kill shot default...

Good post

So now along with being a big Dalton fan you also have had long conversations with Jerry and Stephen and they told you that if Prescott does not sign a long term deal by the 15th that they have written stone that Prescott will be gone. How did you get to be such good friends with the Jones'? I'll give your opinion all the credit it deserves - very little.

In my opinion, Andy is a quality QB. I like Dak and I believe he will be a Cowboy for a long time. However, I've been an Andy fan for years. Here's my question, if Dak doesn't sign an extension and struggles a bit early in the season, how long until,
1. The fans start yelling for Dalton?
2. How long until MM or Jerry pull the plug on Dak?

Warning warning warning Dak-Bait post!!!!

Jerry mumbled with his mask on, but that is what I understood

I'll be honest man that's cut throat that Jerry usually doesn't take part in. Plus I'm not sure if its wise to treat your free agents that way. You start to get a reputation like the New York Knicks.

What year were the Cowboys NOT in playoff contention under Dak?
exactly my point, it would take for Dak to have his team out of that.. seriously how tough is it to understand that the question is about what it would take for Dak to get pulled.

Its a silly scenario that is cooked up by someone wanting to talk about Dak being replaced or no longer in Dallas.

What a stupid thread. Dak is a top 10 quarterback. We have weapons all over the field offensively. The only way Dak will be replaced by Dalton is if there is an injury. Hurts has a better chance of replacing Wince in Philthy.
It's just casual conversation. Nothing stupid about it. Be nice.

How much were Romo and Dak being paid when they kept a healthy Romo on the bench?
