Oh goodness gracious, why must everything be so absolute? First of all, there is no measure whatsoever that he's "trash". Even if you say the 8-8 records reflect the "real" Prescott, 8-8 means average at the worst.

Check most any website, blogger, NFL exec, commentator, even the four letter network folk, and NOBODY rates Dak as "trash".

I'm not listing them again, but a while back I looked up about a half dozen sites, from respected NFL writers, etc. and the worst rating had Dak as the number 11 starting quarterback. For the math challenged who come here, that basically puts him at worst a few tenths of a point below the top 1/3. His average rating was well in the top 10. By no stretch of the imagination does that make him "trash".

It's also obvious that Dak has some issues, accuracy for one. But if you want to dump him and draft the next Mahomes, just remember names like Leaf, Russell, Manuel, Lynch, all high picks, all busts. And to even get that (hopefully) Mahomes we'll have to suffer through a 2-14 or such season, making Dak's 8-8 seasons look like the promised land.

Let's try to be somewhat realistic...

Charean Williams is a reliable reporter.

Sounds like the Cowboys made up their mind on this a long time ago.

She is one of the best reporters In the DFW area, if not the best, and probably in most parts of the country.
