But........before we turn this into a Dak bashing, notice Garrett's record against winning teams below.

The idea here is to the issue of Dak NOT doing well against winning and/or playoff teams is more than how well he's played. This is a stigma of Garrett coached games dating back to Romo also. In other words, coaching matters.

Defining what’s a big game is subjective, but for the purposes of this piece, beating teams with a winning record would be a good place to start. Upon examination, Garrett is not passing the test.

Using Pro Football Reference’s Team Finder to suss out each active head coach’s record against winning teams at season’s end in either the regular season or playoffs reveals a cold, hard fact. Against good teams, Garrett has been mediocre at best.

Here’s a list of all active coaches with at least one year of experience through the end of the last complete season, 2018.

Awesome stuff!

Well done!

Much appreciate your efforts good sir!

I love how an attempt to undermine the quarterback succeeds only in further exposing the sheer incompetence of the former head coach.

Danny is a lot like of the kids on this site arguing nonsense with dishonest intentions.

Dak's actual playoff numbers since 2017:
2 games, 4 TDs. 1 TO.

But I'm sure if you have ESPN stat interns you can find that he was pretty bad in the 1st quarter of night games on thursdays if you try realllllyyyyy hard.

WELL SAID. BSPN will find a way to spin it to fit their narrative. THE CNN of sporting news.

So was The Cowboys 0-5 or just Dak out there by himself 0-5.

There is also a ST and other aspects. What was the same stats in 2016 season.

Never look at the whole body of work. Just what about last year. Teams change every year with injuries and such. We had no ST last year at all. And by the time our Defense got off the field we were starting at our own 10. That’s why we had a #1 Offense with a QB with almost 5000 yards.

WOW, Mr. Ed is getting touchy touchy with his QB. Not sure about Ed's stats. Sure everyone knows a turnover is a turnover. But how many of those turnover's were actually the said mentioned QB's fault? Were any of them tipped? Was the QB hit from behind & the ball was lose etc.... these stats are ALL hideous. It's a team sport Ed!

See here is where I get a little irritated. People blame everything on Dak. But then forget the coaching. But when he was almost at a 50 percent winning percentage against winning teams prior to last season. It was everyone but Dak. I’ve noticed that against good teams Dak has gotten a little bit worse every season. I attribute that completely to Garrett. Everyone seems to regress on his teams. Zeke was allowed to get fat no accountability etc. I think the new coaching is going to show this team for what it really is. Good or bad. I also know MM will get the best out of Dak. And actually scheme against the other team and tailor the offense around Dak. Not tailoring Dak around the offense like Garrett tried to. Man was the king of putting square pegs in round holes.
