Tannehil got 29.5 million avg

And he beat Brady and Belicheck in the playoffs!
Correction!!! He rode Henry’s back on the way for the Titans to beating the Patriots. He threw for less yards then Dak during his dink and Dak days. Then the Titans screwed Henry with the franchise tag.

I think Dak should accept the deal.

I mean. I understand him wanting to bet on himself. But with everything going on. I wouldn’t risk it. There’s a chance the season isn’t even played in full this year. Or, he could get injured. It’s just way too risky.
Yeah, if that that contract they reported is true that is a nice home town discount. France is not going to agree with that. He probably wants Dak to get 36-37 million on a 4 year deal with 120+ million guaranteed. Yikes!!!!

He's not as good on any level (H.S., College or in the Pros) as the guy who pulled the Cabo move with two years left on his deal. Sorry to kill the Zeke sucks flavor of your post though aria. Carry on...
Just because zeke was better doesn’t mean it was a good deal for the Cowboys, that’s what you zeke lovers can’t get through your heads. Over paying for a RB, minus CM, is dumb as hell.

Sometimes you wonder some fans like Dak more than the Best interest cowboys . Strange ...
Dak is not worth this kind of money .
Same argument goes for the ewok, no RB is worth that money other than CM who has more receiving yards than some top WR’s and he has rushing yards up there with the top backs. 2 for 1.

Well that blows the 36 on the table out of the water. Now it comes down to 3 things.

1 - Is it 33 or 35 per year.
2 - It says over 100 million guaranteed. How much over 100 or 112.
3 - They never said 5 years or if they came down to 4.

If it’s 35 and 112 for 4 years then it’s legit and Dak might sign it. If it’s the same offer then it’s not happening. Maybe JJ wants to let MM evaluate him. Or maybe they were so close that JJ bumped it and removed the 5th year. Nothing definitive was said. Apparently the 36 a year was a lie. Maybe the last offer was goff money. Now closer to wilson money.

Right, only McCaffrey is worthy of being paid at the RB position

Over 100MM guaranteed is vague. The guaranteed has to be equal or above what Wentz and Goff got IMO.
It should be at least equal percentage wise

A 5 year deal does give hin one advantage over Wentz. Wentz will get paid again before him, so Wentz again may reset the market for Dak. Maybe Goff too, but I think he continues his tailspin

I can’t believe he will say no to this.

It’s disappointing I used to really think he was a team first kinda guy.

Dakota has been and will always be a ME-First guy. This guys has been enriching himself with commercial money before he accomplished anything. Quality people choose to hone their craft before prostituting themselves commercially

Hes been about the Benjamins first and foremost since day 1.

He came to this team already on 3rd base and thinks he hit a triple

She followed the tweet up with this

So the offer would be 5 years

Maybe they just plan to play under the tag. Let MM work with him. Other than the signing bonus he would make about the same as the tag the first 2 years. But how much is the signing bonus. Making a extra 10 million in a bonus and then making the tag money and then they will want to go back to the table in the 3rd year anyways..

There is no final offer chiseled in stone if they are still communicating.

Dak could play on the tag for the next two seasons - collect $68 million guaranteed - then become a free agent. (Third year tag would be an insane amount.)

The only reasons he would take the alleged offer are protection in case he's severely injured, a desire to be a Cowboy for life, or both. His positions on both seem clear.
