Wasn’t Brady worth it at 22-25 mil

Once AB and Gordon were gone, and considering Edelman was at about 25% for the 2nd half of the season, last year was arguably Brady's worst WR corps of his career. If they actually play football this season, he's going to get 4,600 yards and 37 TD's. Probably more depending on how often he has to throw in the 4th, as opposed to being able to run the clock in the 4th.

If he does that his arm will fall off by week 16...no way he can throw that much at his age. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if his stats were similar to what he had in NE last year...but stats don't tell the whole story.

I used him as the example that the player does not have to be under contract for their rights to be traded. Sorry if you didn't like that fact.

No I wouldn't. You don't speak for me.

How many "am I suggesting" exactly? More putting words in someone else mouth I see.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...he-next-franchise-tagged-player-to-be-traded/

An unsigned franchise player can have influence over his destination. Since a player with an unsigned tender can't be traded until under contract, he essentially has veto power on where he is being dealt or at all. This gives the player a de facto no-trade clause. Clowney was able to quash a trade to the Dolphins by refusing to sign his tender for a move to Miami.

Bradys had great Receivers throughout his career. Just different ones

He made a lot of them great. Julian Edelman may have never amounted to much with another QB. Randy Moss looked finished in Oakland until he had Brady. Gronk won’t play with another QB. He said the only reason he came back was because of Brady.

In hindsight , honestly , shouldn’t the cowboys just grabbed Brady for 25-25 mil for the best chance to reach the Super Bowl this year or next while we still have the talent on the roster ?
Does any one really believe Dak gives us a better chance than Brady in the 2 year window ?
:facepalm:My God the ignorance of our fans. You obviously have no clue what being a TEAM means.

The guy threw 600+ passes last year, and was 4th in the NFL in attempts.

Brady is entering a radically different philosophy than he has ever seen. Belichick #1 rule is to minimize negative plays. If the primary WR is covered, check it down. If the check down is covered, throw it in the ground. Take no sacks, throw no interceptions. Nothing wrong with punting. But now he is moving to Bruce "no risk it, no biscuit" Arians. Everyone go deep. Chuck 'n duck. I mean, Jameis Winston has 5,000+ yards with 33 TD's. Of course, he also had 30 INT's, but don't expect that many INT's from Brady.

I wonder if Bryant would still dropped as many footballs. It’s called a team. And I know you know that. But you’re right

I made a quick edit and mentioned that Gronk only came back because of Brady. He said himself he probably wouldn’t have had the career he had with another QB. Receivers are dependent on their QB.

I live 25 minutes from Gillette Stadium. I’m a cowboy fan because of Roger Staubach overseas military that’s all we could get piped in. How can I not love the star and what it represents. But I’ve been through Steve Grogan’s. The goat Brady. I show no disrespect for the man. But when your time is up your time is up. He’s not gonna be able to get rid of the football as quickly as he likes . I hope he finishes the season healthy

Watch. Brady will be incredible for the first 6 games of the season, and everyone will be like "I told you!" Then as the weeks go on, he look like "home playoff game against the Titans final pass pick six Brady" soon after that.

I have no prediction on it, especially as far as team success goes, since he's with a different team with different personnel. All I know is that his QB rating was the lowest he's had since 2013 and even the previous year, it had declined from three straight over 100. That would be a concern.

Other than Mahomes last Super Bowl. Brady against the Rams was horrific. Terrible quarterback play. But he is the goat.

When you can't pass in the compressed areas against a zone defense you run the ball.

Exactly. I'm quite sure the pass attempts percentage in those situations would look different with Brady
