Of course he’s upset there’s nobody else to put the blame on... the pressure is squarely on his shoulders. We got a competent coaching staff on both sides and a talented roster. If Dak can’t do something with Cooper, Gallup, and lamb he’s trash and not worth any money... kick rocks.

The NFL says that any ball under the same conditions a receiver would catch the ball but doesn't is considered a drop
and just what are those conditions lol.
They must include way behind, 2-3 feet over their head too.

First I didn't say Aikman wasn't accurate, only that based on completion percentages not as accurate as Prescott. Next lets compare all of Elliott's THREE seasons of 1000+ yards to Emnmitt's TWELVE season in a row. Lets not overlook that Elliott's production has steadily gone downward since his rookie season.

You were the one that said Aikman didn't have a good line except during the Super Bowl years but gave nothing to prove that except your OPINION.. Sacks do show something and yet Aikman had his fewest sacks, 9, in 1998 long after those Super Bowl years.

Lastly the NFL's definition for a drop pass was the same when Aikman played as it is for Prescott so using drops as an excuse is just that. When you have a Bryant dropped balls that hit both hands chest high don't even try and put any fault on Prescott for drops. The NFL says that any ball under the same conditions a receiver would catch the ball but doesn't is considered a drop. Stop trying to add drops to either QB's completion percentage unless you use it for both.

You're the one who brought up drops. You're not even worth debating. Bye.

Unlike people that rely on little voices in their heads like you, I'll wait until those that actually make the decisions make those decisions and refrain from thinking I know as fact what any of them are thinking or are going to do. You asound just like sportswriters who write articles just get clicks and have no real facts to work with. Don't bother replying because I'll just ignore you.
.
.

You should of been ignored me.

You getting all worked up and emotional because I stated facts.

Dak didn't get extended, ok??? Understand that. Understand he most likely won't be a cowboy after this season.

I know I know I know, it sucks to get all excited thinking we would resign him and laughing and telling others to leave come July, only to figure out, jokes on you, and he's not extended.

:lmao:

Now go to bed, boy.

Zeke needs to show up vs good defenses too and prove he's worth the money.

If you are waiting for the Cabo Ewok to show he is worth $90 million...……..LMAO......you are going to be waiting a hell of a long time.

Dude can barely run 10 yards without having to tap out.

Maybe you need do a little research on what is considered a dropped pass in the NFL. Before going any deeper in specifics it says a drop is any pass under the same conditions that a receiver would normally catch. Your passes behind or 2-3 feet over the head are just listed as incomplete passes because under the same conditions a receiver normally would not catch those either.

I’m not saying a thing.

I'm sure Garrett was liked by a lot of the players.

Its like a guy I knew at my last job, we were both division supervisors and our departments had to meet quotas each quarter when the company reported their earnings, it was a publicly traded company.

The guy was great, liked by everybody, and he would tell you a story every time you talked to him. He used to be in the Navy aboard a submarine and the stories he would tell and the places he went to all over the world when they went in to port every couple of weeks. Anyways, long story short, his department missed their quotas for two consecutive quarters and corporate let him go.

That is Garrett in a nutshell, a great guy that everybody liked but at the end of the day he wasn't getting the job done so he got replaced.

You were the one that said that Prescott had such great receivers and I proved that his #1 receiver for 2 out of the 3 years he played with Prescott wasn't that great. I know you don't like when someone puts holes in your arguments.

Nope. He never had to beat out anyone for his position. He was protected and never made to play behind the second string line in preseason or in games in which the entire offensive line wasn't starting .
So.......you never heard of Chaz Green huh?

He beat out Romo unless you consider him a nobody which is a argument for another day.........
Actually that is not true, won the job by injury to the starter, kept the job because the FO and JG wouldn't allow a open competition for the starting job .

Kept the job because he played well enough to keep it. You guys can't use this narrative that "Oh there was no competition" without acknowledging that Dak and the team played well enough to keep Romo on the bench. That's just facts. If Dak was pedestrian Romo would've been brought back in. True or false?

When did Dak ever put blame on Garrett?

The first part of your comment is true - he did get the job due to injury. The second part is misleading because it ignores why the team chose not to have an open competition, which was because Dak played well and Romo was aging and had spent the majority of 2 seasons injured.

That's not completely true either. Romo was injured in the 1st quarter of the 1st preseason game and wasn't cleared by the medical staff to play until after week 11. By that time the Cowboys were on a 10 game winning streak. Romo missing 3 preseason games and 10 season games it was almost like being off for a complete season. The coaches knew there was a real chance for some rust and so because of that and not wanting to mess with the mojo they had going they stayed with Prescott. After the season the Cowboys weighed things and with a rookie B getting a 13-3 record and Romo piling up injuries they told him privately that they were going to release him. Word got out about this and after being released 2 teams made offers to him and CBS and Romo choose to go to the booth. After going there he later said he though he could still play but also said there was a good chance he would get injured again and by going to the booth he didn't have to worry about getting injured again. He also said after last season was over that if he was Jones he would have done the very same thing.
