Actually, that is Seattle’s first round picks going back to 2011, so I needed to add Tyron Smith and Mo Claiborne to Dallas’ list.

so it should be:
Tyron Smith
Mo Claiborne
Zack Martin
Byron Jones
Ezekiel Elliott
Taco Charlton
Leighton Vander Esch
None (Amari Cooper trade)
CeeDee Lamb

vs.
James Carpenter
Bruce irvin
Germaine Ifedi
Rashad Penny
LJ Collier
Jordyn Brooks

That’s how the first round has shaken out for Dallas vs. Seattle since 2011.
Seattle does tend to stink in the 1st round lately.

Then again, they often pick late...and theres a reason for that.

They also make use of later round picks and have a QB that can win without an All Pro at every position.

Theres no way the case can be made that Adams is worth that much, but ita probably Carroll going for it while Wilson is still in his prime.

Still peculiar, but I get it to a small degree. Expensive. Wow still.

I wanted Adams for the Eagles...but not at that price. Good lord. Seahawks got taken to the cleaners

I’m pretty sure the Bears traded less for Khalil Mack
Raiders received:
2019 first round (running back Josh Jacobs at No. 24 by Raiders)
2019 sixth round (cornerback Blessuan Austin at No. 196 by Jets)
2020 first round (cornerback Damon Arnette at No. 19 by Raiders)
2020 third round (receiver Bryan Edwards at No. 81 by Raiders)

Bears received:
Mack
2020 second-round pick (tight end Cole Kmet at No. 43)
2020 seventh-round pick (offensive lineman Arlington Hambright at No. 226)

this is an example of your sickness. I wanted to draft Ramsay, and didn’t want to extend Zeke (at the price or the point In his contract) but because I point out how strange your behavior is I must live and support zeke lol

the relevancy is the loosest of threads, because no one is criticizing them over the trade because they will now miss the opportunity to draft an rb high, and because there are 150 other first round picks you could reference since Zeke came in the league.
It’s ... just... weird
That’s actually a horrible example and funny that you accuse me of having a sickness every time I comment on zeke and I don’t even play for the team! I may have a sickness but at least it’s in regard to someone who plays for the team I love, not a random poster on the internet. But that’s cool, always nice to hear from you so I know you’re doing ok...I worry about you sometimes.

Do you tell the hundreds, if not thousands, of people who say the same things about Dak over and over again that they have a sickness?

The relevancy isn’t the loosest if you’ve actually been following the thread.

1) Seattle has a horrible record of first round draft picks, at least they know exactly what they’re getting here, a young safety who is probably the best in the league.

2) Some people bring up our first round picks and I said out of the past 4 years, I would have given up a combination of 2 first rounders, which would equal what Seattle is giving up. Obviously Taco and probably zeke because if they were that smart they could have got Henry later on. I would even throw LVE in the conversation depending how he does this year.

Comprende amigo?

*I never got into the third round pick but that’s not the sticking point for most people.

Cowboys couldn't beat the Jets, but add Adams for a kings ransom and they're Super Bowl bound? 1 player.. that's all that was missing? How many guys do we want to overpay? Those rookie deals are huge. The Cowboys are drafting very well and that's 10 years of rookie salary for a safety. Crazy talk. It's a moronic move for a team with a new coach thinking long term.

Raiders made the right decisions in trading Mack and Cooper. They just weren't ready to start overpaying guys. It would've been stupid to keep them.

Well we only had 3 1st rounders the past 4 years. Leighton came straight in and was a Pro Bowler, Taco sucked and Cee Dee Lamb is under review. We got Zeke in 2016 which regardless of how you feel about him he's been a productive player. Cowboys have killed it in the 1st round. The most troublesome was the Charlston pick no doubt.
As I said about zeke, he’s very good but no RB is worth that high of a pick. Even you mentioned several other players we could have had and that’s on top of Henry.

LVE...jury is out on him. As I said great first year but the way he played last year and his injury is a legitimate reason for concern.

We definitely got lucky with Lamb, at least I hope so.

We’ll probably see Seattle in the playoffs the next few years and no one will bring up how stupid they were for this trade.

There’s also a strong possibility next years draft will be a total crap shoot thus making the pick that much more difficult to nail.

Probably an over pay but those two firsts could turn out to be Taco and Trysten Hill. Also Adams is all pro and more of a LB hybrid who is adept at sacking the QB. I'd be surprised if either of those picks is lower than high teens.

Some franchises are actually all-in on winning championships, others are content just talking about it.

Anyways, here comes the "they paid too much" crowd.

Seattle can make a bet like this when they've got Russell Wilson.

A safety, 2 firsts and a third?......Yeah, I'd say they paid too much.

The 2022 first rounder isn't helping the Seahawks for two years maybe even three. The 2021 first rounder may not contribute in a noticeable way for two years.

It's a lot to give up but they obviously believe they are in a two year Superbowl window.

Let’s say Seattle kept their 2 first round picks. They no doubt would be picking late.1 was a bust or mediocre, the other turned into a good starter. Let’s keep in mind Seattle has been sucking bootyhole in the first round.

Adams is a star, playmaker, and 24 years old. He is the best safety at the LOS since Polamalu.

I don’t think this is as bad as a deal as everyone is saying it is.

Oh well. They gave up the farm to get him. Kinda glad we didn’t do that tbh.

Horrible trade. I am glad the Cowboys didn’t do this. Adams is a great player in the box but he cannot cover. This will not help against Kittle.
Pittsburg getting Fitzpatrick was a much better trade.

I respectfully disagree. I think it's a crap deal, but it's not something I'm passionate about. As a matter of fact, I'm not cooking tonight so I'm going to put my headphones on.
Salud.

nah that would take up far too much of my time. Much easier here, with you, since I frequent the boards and you post about zeke so much. One stop shop.

and as far as how you feel about our firsts, their firsts, draft picks relative in general, that’s cool. We all have different opinions on that thing and that’s what msg boards are about. Tying it specifically to zeke tho is a weird stretch and very on brand. Good talk
