"Payback " with Mel Gibson ...that's a damn good one ! .i wish i had thought about one.
It was so low regarded when it was released but ended up being a hidden gem cult favorite when many watched it.
Kinda reminds me of John Wick in that sense...Low regarded at box office until word of mouth and many seeing on cable TV, DVD rental and streaming. .. now it's a phenom. (5th Wick movie just given the green light)

Assassins and the Specialist with Stallone good ones too.
:flagwave:

i should have placed " Columbiana" .. and " Law Abiden Citizen" among my favorite Guilty Pleasures too.

I used to love Infra Man, remember seeing it as a child and coming home practicing those karate moves in the yard. Payback is a great movie, seen it a million times and will watch it every chance I get.

Some great choices listed above, this is one of mine

Does anyone remember the trading cards this movie was based on when you were a kid? They were sold in stores for a few months then they were banned because they were too graphic and kids were having nightmares. I remember my friends bringing them to school and showing them around but every time I went to the store to buy a few packs they were sold out! Now I own a full set of reprints but its clearly not the same thing.

Not sure what "guilty pleasures" means but I'll watch "Battleship" whenever it is on. I also watch "Battle: Los Angeles" when it is on. I have to confess to watching "Conan the Barbarian", "Commando", and several other horrible Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. I recommend everyone watch Commando and see if you can pick out all of the editing mistakes and horrible special effects, like the cardboard cutouts of bad guys getting blow up.

I'll add one more to this list "Scorpion King", just for Kelly Hu in the skimpy costumes.
