End of season they got 1 seed wrapped coasting. Nothing to worry about.
They probably don't have to worry until the NBA Finals.
Clips are a tough match up but might not get to WC Finals to matter.
They've coasted all year.

I'm just having a hard time giving a damn about the new NBA. Too much woke BS interfering with my viewing enjoyment.

I'm not watching the NBA, due to restrictions here I can't explain why, suffice it to say I'll not watch another NBA game for a while, maybe forever. Which is sad, it used to be a nice diversion from the everyday grind of life...

I’m kinda disappointed in the Pelicans. They really dropped the ball to earn the 8th seed. I guess it’s just not their time yet.

Suns have been insanely good. The team everyone has predicted yearly as they stockpiled top picks.
Not sure why it has now clicked but man they are good.

Don't read too much into the last few games as many teams are resting up for playoffs.

People are welcome to their political beliefs and affiliations but there's no way I'd let that rob me of watching basketball given what else is on right about now.
College football looking cancelled and NFL delayed... yea man show me ALL the basketball.

Wild Mavs-Blazers game last night. Quite a fun watch.
Felt very Mavsd-Heat-ish as Dame got a foul call every trip it seemed.
Blazers needed it more and got it.

I have no idea what woke BS means, but ratings are plummeting and the BS spewing keeps piling up. At some point, someone will have to put a stop to the BS if they want to maintain and keep paying the players huge.

I miss the 80s and 90s NBA.

When I was growing up, there was nothing better than Dad allowing me to stay up past my bed time to watch the Celtics with him. I would spend all day waiting for 7pm so we could watch Larry Legend play the game the right way while still dominating night in and night out. I'm still a huge Celtic fan but basketball will never be as enjoyable to watch as it was back then. If I could only go back...

Celtics have been rolling. We will get Philadelphia in the first and barring an upset Toronto in the 2nd

I liked Dr. J and the sixers until MJ left UNC a year early and joined the Bulls. I was in high school when he came back from foot injury and scored 63 on Boston in playoffs. Boston won though. But man those Celtics/Lakers battles, Bulls/Pistons, then Bulls and whoever stepped up to challenge them. Then the NBA started dying (in my opinion) with it getting younger and younger with the early entrants, AAU and jumping from team to team. I can’t even watch it anymore.

Can't wait for Horford to admit, after the series, that he made the wrong move and should have been moving on to the 2nd round. Also can't wait to watch Embid go off on his squad for losing. They're a train wreck.

All of this.

Plus the paid guns for hire, team hopping stuff.
It's the very worst thing about Pro sports for me.
You can have a favorite team and a hated rival---take the same core group of guys from your rival and put them on your team, so really the same team but switch jerseys, and presto....lol

I get changing teams maybe once or so, but it really makes it hard for fans to have a favorite team (and be honest with themselves) if players jump from team to team and just group up together to get a trophy.

Sorry Laker fans, but this year's Lakers are horrible in that regard. Talk about devaluing the trophy if they win.
imo of course

They are a wierd experiment in the modern in the modern NBA. I was worried about them before the season, but our interior play has been better than expected. Embiid will still be a problem, but without Simmons I dont think they have the playmaking or firepower to beat us. I can see them taking a game or two where Embiid puts them on his back
