I actually agree with the premise of what you're saying. However, based upon the comments ( mostly implicit) you can tell that change was absolutely needed this off-season, if just for the sake of change.
Garrett seems to be a good leader overall, however he seemed to truly lack the knowledge and abilities to coach the details of football. It wore thin on the players and thus 2019 happened and here we are.
Yes I agree with that and I think a big part of that was poor assistants last year. Garrett was the guy in charge setting the direction and giving the speeches, something he is very good at. The assistants were running the game plans, the scheme and calling the plays on gameday.
I just think at some point when you lose a number of long time proven assistants it will catch up to you and it did last year. I thought last year was the perfect time for change honestly but they gave it a shot anyway.
This should be an entirely different type of season because the organization once again has proven long time nfl assistants in place. Even saying that there are some odd ball coaches on this staff IMO...Kellen Moore and Rob Davis.
