I would still pull a guy like snacks off the street for about 7m less.

Harrison would actually make a handful of plays here and there.

Doesnt he live in Dallas? Makes sense if McCoy to IR.

Yeah but you're talking a 1T (Harrison) vs a 3T (McCoy).

LOL. He did it with Poe claiming he's always an injury waiting to happen despite the fact that in 8 seasons, Poe has only missed 7 games and 5 were from last year when he tore his quad.

He has his own version of reality which exists outside the real world.

They inserted Tristen Hill into the lineup when McCoy came out.

Wonder how long he stays there before they'll decide otherwise.

I think we'll find out precisely what we have in him in short order. o_O

A loss of McCoy would hurt, but they do have 2 prospects at the position, along with Crawford who can play there if needed.

Agreed.

Folks....think about some guys where if this was them, what a travesty that would be. I wont mention names and go jinxing things....but this could be worse. Plus the worst isnt confirmed yet at all.

If McCoy is lost, the silver lining is there some depth at that spot on the DL. Actually the DL has a lot of depth. But let's not test that theory.

Up until last year, when he played 11 games (tore his quad muscle), Poe had played 16 games for three straight seasons and had never played in less than 15 games in a season in his entire career.

He's been one of the more durable DTs throughout his career.
The dude plays through injury, which I respect, but his play suffers when he does.

And at his size, I just don't expect much. To be wrong on that would be awesome and a huge lift at a position of great problems in recent years.

They maybe seeking guys who offers more interior pass rush skills than Snack Harrison.
Especially at the 3 tech role.
But the pickings are so extremely scarce, if at all, on the vet FA street market.

Marcelius Darius isn't an elite pass rusher either but maybe offer a bit more rush skills and more athletic than Snack at this stage.
Like Poe, he's quite a big body load too and been noted as a tough run stuffer - when motivated.
He does carry character red flags though.

MRI scheduled for today. But any player immediately clutching his knee on the ground, visibly in pain, and unable to
place any weight on his leg while walking off... that is just not a good sign at all.

Let’s just hope this is a veteran trying to get out of some practice.

Of course.. I knew it. Visibly angry usually means it’s bad.. They seems to know when it’s bad. I hope not.

Two words: WALLY PIP

Its great to see good signs early from Hill, he really could be an excellent backup if he has made the normal jump in performance that second year players do. Ron Leary didn't even make the team as a rookie but went from the PS to the starting lineup in his second year.

i'm probably in the minority in that I wasn't expecting much from McCoy this season ( I tend to believe he is on the downside of his career), so, personally, i'm not as worried

but it DOES worry me that Hill is replacing him. He needs to make astronomical strides to be productive and I don't see that happening..
