I thought ET was over rated until we traded for him :starspin:

A realease would shock me.

$25 million cap hit in dead money. The Ravens don't typically make such monumental mistakes. At least they never did under Ozzie Newsome.
The Ravens made the mistake last offseason signing a 30 year old safety to a top 3 Safety contract. The Ravens wanted Honey Badger but he signed with KC. If he is released, I think we sign him.

its turned out to be a bad move..trust me they will tell you behind closed doors..rumor's started at the end of the year last year about the not fitting..so bad move.. sorry your mancrush on an aged out ET you wanted to overpay to have him come here has clouded your judgement,..Im glad we didnt make that move..i was before and even more now..if he would have walked in here without a huge draft pick and played for 8mil, sure..not what they paid..

on the flipside even Adams would have been too steep but at least hes young healthy and you can get some years out of him in his prime..

The amount of assumptions you have made that are outright wrong is laughable. Every single time you attribute something to me that is not what I said you have been wrong. I have not even thought about whether or not I would want ET on the Cowboys if he were cut by the Ravens because that is such an unlikely event that it was not worth thinking about, but you managed to convince yourself that only do I want that to happen, but that I think he is such a difference maker that it would be worth doing and the ONLY basis you have for this is that I, correctly, said that there was no way ET was going to be able to help the Ravens in the running game. That is something no one would disagree with, but you created this entire scenario in your head about alternative motivations that, while good for a chuckle, is not based in reality.

According to rumor, Ravens already with buyer remorse and looking to get out of the overpriced contract. Ravens and others in the league think his play has dropped considerably and not worth $10M/yr.

My guess is that there are some personality issues and Earl's head isn't on straight. He had some issues with his wife and he and his brother were allegedly in the same bed with some women or something like that. If memory serves me right, I think Earl fought with Bobby Wagner also, maybe just verbally. He gave the Seahawks front office or whole team the middle finger when he got hurt.

He might be in the same boat as Antonio Brown when it comes to crazy.

This has Souper Bowl written all over it. Our odds just went from +1500 to -600! Show me the money! The SB is a lock, we may already have the best team ever assembled and now ET?! This isn’t even fair.
If you think Zeke is a turd wait to Jerrah introduces ET. Watching him play last season he lost a step but he is a student of the game and his instincts are still good. I think him and HaHa would actually work with our young corners. I just don’t see the cutting him unless the void the deal.

This has the potential to be the best roster ever assembled. I’m sniffing a dynasty.

I would be surprised if we did. I think he’s all about money we’re not about to pay him.

- We could have had Honey Badger too, but the previous staff decided that Tyranny wasn't a true centerfielder in the traditional sense.
That he was the type that has to schemed in a different way than the usual FS.

- We were never interested in Mathieu, We tried to low ball offer Earl Thomas as an UFA, and we bypassed Juan Thornhill in
the 2nd round for DT Trysten Hill.
Now we're banking on cheap bargain based vet Ha Ha Clinton Dix to at least decent in this starting lineup.

- Dunno if we never had any interest in Minka Fitzpatrick who went to the Steelers for a 1str rounder
and the Jamal Adams trade hunt is well reported with the report that we offered a No.1 and Anthony Brown for Adams,
but Jets wanted a kings ransom for Adams.

But yet who would've thought we'd be in a position chance to get play maker CeeDee Lamb at the 17th overall pick ?
If we had gave up that 1st rounder for Adams, there is no CeeDee Lamb. those are big breaks we need in our favor !

He played well for them last season and they got the #1 seed, doesn't seem to have been a mistake so far.

As someone who lives in BMore i can tell you he is and he just signed a 3 year extension.

Basically, going into last year Tony Jefferson was the other starter, but after TJ got injured Clark stepped in and played far better. This led to the Ravens extending Clark and cutting TJ.
So the Cowboys beating the Ravens in a Superbowl would be Adreme coming true for you, right?

Chuckle. Chuckle.

How and why is Zeke in a thread about ET? Is he being traded to the Ravens or something? Not read all the pages but probably know who inserted Zeke here.

Still glad we didn't break the bank for him. Not because he is a head case, but because he is old.
