First year coach needs to rebuild the culture with guys who make a team, not talented but divisive players. Sure, talk to him, get his side, but don’t destroy the positive vibes and chemistry with a guy who thinks he doesn’t need to study or attend meetings. of course but loading up your team specifically one side of the ball with old players on short term deals guarantees you have to chase positions in the next year or two. That's a road that the team needs to stay off of.

especially if you have guys with major injury or suspension issues on that side of the ball.
