Heath was always where he was supposed to be and was not a terrible S. His physical limitations kept him from being a good S, especially on open field tackles when the ball carrier had time to make a move. Heath simply could not mirror any type of move, and that's what kept him from being better.
31 year old Earl Thomas is worse. Gets juked often and misses tackles. If people are happy to have moved on from Jeff Heath, they certainly should not be wanting today's version of Earl Thomas for those reasons.

If I were putting money on it, he goes to SF.

They have been trying extremely hard to upgrade at safety and were a finalist to get Jamal Adams. They also love them some ex-Seahawks.

Robert Saleh was on the staff there with him as a quality control coach.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Amazing what a little news and a year's time does for people.
He has had three fights in 9months in Baltimore and wasn't even very good on a super talented team. I was never all in on him last year either.
Now if it's for a cheap deal maybe but I wouldn't give him more than 5 a year. Most people here want him because they think he is what he was 5 years ago or they are longhorns homers

in a potential covid shortened nfl season, your correct. ET in short doses might be all we need this year. Its like the perfect storm if you will. I still worry about his antics.

This is why a guy like Rob Davis (Assistant Head Coach) is around.

McCarthy and the FO may be onto something with a coaching structure like this.

Player mental management is huge in this league.

I'm not certain what the article is really saying.

Does using the term "sponsor" indicate substance abuse issues?
No. in this context it it is more akin to “advocate”

No, can't handle that contract, he's obviously got issues, don't need that in the locker room. Someone else is going to be able to offer him more.

My greatest fear is that Jones is going to put all this money into this season and the Cowboys will have to face the repercussions for a decade.

I heard on radio here in Philly that there were reports players wanted Harbaugh to get rid of Thomas.

I wanted Thomas a few years ago but he seems to be a real pain in the butt. Is it worth it?

LOL. But, but, but, you know he's "hungrier" than a guy on a different team you don't follow. Gonna start calling you Mr. Tabloid. Just throw crap out there with no basis in anything other than to "belong" to a discussion.
:muttley:
:laugh:You are funny. A bit triggered. I been watching coaches praise Dix actually. You must have missed it while reading your Tom Clancy novels.
