I am actually a little shocked that Jimmy was so positive on Dallas. But he does tell it like it is. If he did not thinks so, he would have not said it.
Bradshaw on the Giants, after hearing Howie's take about the Eagles, Terry may not be wrong.

This sounds like 2008.

Howie said the eagles secondary is injured. Is it that bad? Don't they have slay, coleman, maddox, mcleod and mills as the starters in the secondary? Aren't they all healthy.

Again. I think there is a really silly notion of ranking the overall cowboys team based on the wr group.

I say this all the time. Big Time wr every year are home watching the superbowl. The teams that play fundamentally sound, good defense and get takeaways win the big games.

The eagles defensive line looks pretty fantastic. Cox, Hargrave, Jackson, Ridgeway, barnett, grahm and curry. This is a really talented group.

The eagles also I think right now have the best coach in the division although I really like Ron Rivera.

Terry also said Dallas is coming in with a "brand new Center" so take that for what it's worth.

I liked Howie's points about the Dallas/Philly contenders in the East though.

I'm so ready for kick off.

You’re on the wrong forum. This is a Dallas Cowboys board, not an Eagles board.

Yes, new C, but a familiar C. Looney will be fine. I am ready also. I have a fairly busy week ahead, so time hopefully seems to go fast.
Only have to wait all day long for us to play.

I have to admit that for the FIRST time in many many many years... I do feel positive and excited about a new season. It is not the 1st time we are told we have a talented team, but at least, this time around we do not have the CLAPPER. Sure we will have Jerry and things might never be fully ok as long as he managed the team, but at least we got some decent coaching thi time

Talent was never our issue

its was coaching.....now if we can go 16 games without other teams knowing what were doing then im with jimmie

I have to say I am so interested in how Oaklands defense does this year and how the giants offense does. comparing them with our groups at the end of the year is of real interest to me.

That will be interesting.
Garrett does have Barkley and Jones to work with. We know Barkely is good, or can be. Though not as many on here thinks he is. Jones, many seen to like him, but he did fumble a lot last year. Rookie mistakes, maybe so.

Does Rod have anyone on the Raiders defense to work with? Besides Heath? :muttley:

yes they have a decent group of players. Also just to point out Marinelli is only the defensive line coach in oakland and not the coordinator.

the giants have some weapons. I think Jones is a good player, barkley is great and they have a good wr core if they all stay healthy. They also have a guy at tight end who if he reaches his potential in the tight end friendly offense could have a monster year.

Jones's fumbling issue from last year should get better this year. Being the starter from day one is a big difference and having a new coaching staff that has had good results in the past should help also.

Pat shurmur and Ben Mcadoo are really bad play callers and offensive coaches. I bet shurmur struggles in Denver this year.
