Watch Gruden’s QB camp video/interview. He was one of the smartest QB’s who knew what he was talking about compared to his contemporaries who some couldn’t decipher coverages
Lay off the bang energy my friend. Everybody looks smart on those things. Give me a flipping break.

This is where I’m at.

it shouldn’t have come down to that pass.

But at the same time. Gallup ran a great route. Dak threw a perfect pass. And that loud mouth, cocky piece of crap Ramsey flops like he’s at the World Cup and gets a call.

I am disgusted by that.

Again, shouldn’t have came to that play. No excuses. But I’m still angry about it.

Everybody is angry about it but you are right is shouldn't come down to a play like that, everyone also forgets the Goff INT where he took a solid hit to the head that the refs missed, maybe the game isn't as close as it was at the end if the refs make that call. IN the NFL calls go both ways during a game but it's always the losing team who thinks the refs screwed them

So you missed the refs bail Jalen Ramsey out when he got beat and Dak dropped that pass in perfectly?

That was a nice pass but why start the drive dumping it off 5-6 yards and taking a sack ? Too little too late not worth 40 mill a year,

Dak ended up with a 92.5 passer rating. That's pretty good. 266 passing yards, 64.1 % completion percentage with 1 TD and 0 turnovers.

We all saw the officials take away several pass plays from Dak and the Offense. Dak easily would had had over 300 yards passing with over a 100 passer rating if it weren't for the officials.

The problem was not Dak or the Offense. Instead, the problem was the Defense, Special Teams and once again the coaching playcall decisions. All the same problems that hurt the team in 2019.
You sound like one of their coaches. Excuses all around.
Still, 2 times he had the ball after 5 minute mark. He couldn't even get past mid field. 1-7 on third down. Gardner Minchew looks much more seasoned at this point. Really, watch him and compare.

That's what he could get on those plays. Do yall not consider the pass rush and how they started attacking the right side of the line? We had an UDFA Rookie out there.

Gruden hyped all the QB's comming out. Gruden would have moved on from Dak by now if he was coaching him.

Its absolutely demoralizing as a fan, knowing we dont have a franchise QB

Its like coming into every single season knowing we are handicapped at the most important position. It wont matter who the coach is or who we draft, we wont win until we get a Quarterback
I feel your pain. The franchise stews in mediocrity. From letting career loser in Romo start for so long to letting Dak being here this long. They should’ve traded Prescott and a first round for Russell Wilson the 2019 year when Wilson had a foot out the door in Seattle

Explain how it was Dak's fault. Losers only place blame without elaborating how.

You explain how the guy who touches the ball on every offensive play but only scores 3 points in the 2nd half (maybe six if MM doesn't go for it on 4th down and kicks the FG) takes none of the blame or responsibility when the team loses? You don't win many games in the NFL scoring 3 points or even 6 in the 2nd half of football games. It is his job to put points on the board

I have the exact same take now as I did during the off-season. Dak is a good QB and is capable of winning a SB. The problem is he needs A LOT of help.

If he signed a contract that looks like a top 10 QB I don’t think many people would complain. Instead he holds out for #1 money and has no reason to justify it. He finished essentially a playoff game vs the Eagles last season and couldn’t score a TD. One TD would have beaten the Pats and they would have been in the playoffs. He starts this season on the road with ZERO fans and can’t do better than 20 points with ridiculous weapons at WR and a top RB.

Dak is not the only problem but he is not elite. He should not be paid elite money when he requires a top defense, a top RB, top WR’s and a top o-line to shine. I like him but he is not a carry the offense type of QB and he will never be. He is what he is at this point.

Man no one who knows what they're watching is blaming Dak.

We blame Dak because HE IS THE LEADER of an offense that scored 3 points in the second half. We also criticize him because he is a bus driver who wants 40 mill per year. If he stays we want him to take less money because we need the best OL best running back and best recieving core for him to be successful.

Dak is NOT the sole reason we lost.. but in the modern game.. your QB is the play maker. Dak CAN play against defences keyed on the run and when they are playing prevent. He is actually very good in those situations.

When we are behind and close.. he sucks. Like big time SUCKS. Hence why we have the 2nd worst record in 'one possession' games over the past 1.5 seasons.

Dak was fine in the first half.. nice conservative throws to Zeke in the flat, to WRs on curl routes and the TE on digs.. Very comfortable bus driving effort.

Once the game is on the line but the defence is actually trying to stop him (ie not in Prevent) then he just flat out hasn't got a clue.. hence the 1 for 7 etc etc. This is not he first time we have seen this. Dak simply does not have the tools to be a franchise QB. He is FINE as a bus driver.. game manager.. whatever.. but not the man you pay money. Start Dalton and lets see what this offence can do.

Was Dak the one dropping passes? Was Dak the one calling the terrible situational calls by going for it on 4th down inside the opponent's 20, instead of simply kicking the FG? Was it Dak's fault his Oline struggled to block Aaron Donald or give him time to find receivers running deep?
