MM fooled everyone by inviting cameras into his house to show how he had locked himself in and poured over film for months upon months to suddenly reinvent himself....BS!!!

Didn't played decent, but him and that offense had like 3 opportunities to win the game at the end on a TD drive and they didn't get it done. Even the BS PI call included.

At least for one game those fans that say Dak doesn't deserve 35 million per year are up 1-0.
BS.

Dak wasn't the problem. Moore's playcalling was the problem, along with our Oline struggling to block and give Dak and our WRs time. Add in the horrible decisions to try a 54 yard FG right before the Half, then go for it on 4th & 3 inside the Rams 20 instead of kicking the 3 point FG to tie the game, pretty much were the problems why we lost the game. Oh, and our Defense absolutely still sucks.

I didn't say he was the problem. LOL I was simply commenting on his performance.

Are you going to blow a gasket?

These were the EXACT type of games that Dak and the Cowboys were winning the first 3 years of his career. The close ones. The last drive wins that Dak was leading the NFL with the first 3 years.

Whether you want to admit it or not, last year that trend changed. Now I can forgive one year of NON CLUTCH QB play after 3 years of CLUTCH play. But this was a game that a 35 million QB needs to win more times then not. Not blaming it on him, simply saying he and this offense had many chances. Hell they ONLY scored 3 points in the 2nd half.

Dak deserves props for laying it all there with his body. He made two excellent runs, particularly for the TD when caught just short. He could have taken a heavy blow to the head nonetheless he didn't flinch. I feared that he might make some business decisions on the tag but I stand corrected and fair play to him in that regard.

That is a good point - would the Dak of 2016 done much more or less than the Dak of last night?

I just don't understand why some people cant talk reality. Dak was winning these type of close games the first 3 years. Now that clutch pass to gallup was amazing, but it shouldn't have come to that. Oline, play calling, yada yada yada.

So you expect Dak to pass block, run the routes, catch the passes and call the plays at the same time, too? Do you know how an Offense works?

This won't be popular and i'm only bringing it up because it could be a relevant point.

Did Dak benefit from having Romo in his ear during 2016? People argue that it was Marc Sanchez most of the time (maybe it was and in which case perhaps we should have brought him back in some capacity) but was it Romo helping him break down defensive coverages? As a rookie that would make sense.

McVey helps Goff no end and they aren't ashamed of it so it's not a criticism of Dak, just a question of if it worked before then why not try it again with another quarterback whisperer? Or perhaps it's just simply a case that our O-Line was out of this world in 2016 and he had more time to process information and make his decisions.

Dak benefited from all day to throw and the Oline. And he benefited from surprise and unpredictability.

Dak played great.... I thought looked really really good and I'm not a known Dak fan. He's very much improved
My one complaint against Dak in this game was he didn't test the defense deep enough. He should have thrown a few deep (Anything more than 20 yards in the air) a few more times. Other than that, I agree, I thought he looked good. Oh, He did seem to lock onto Cooper late and he took a sack because he was starring Cooper down and had no idea he was about to get sacked.

I don't think Dak did bad considering the team folded in on him. Just that he didn't carry hard like a 40 mill QB he claims to be. But throwing into the feet of a receiver right in front of you, is hard to justify a 40 mill price tag.

Zeke's longest run was 14 yards. He didn't earn his high price tag.
