Prescott needs to step it up to make up for the horrible defense. 3,5,10 yard passes don't cut it. He needs to throw it downfield at least 7-8 times a game.
ultimately points on the board against us was 20...20 points, not 40. We scored 17. That had little to do with the defense. 3rd and 13 or so, and dak dumps it to a RB.....he is the same guy he has always been

That's not me, being in Dallas, we talk about the cowboys often at work after a game. I always kept silent after a loss when people would bring up things like Romo throwing too many interceptions or being fragile because were valid points. Like I already said in this thread, it was one game, too little to judge Dak on in this season. But the apologists doing their blame shifting, actually bring more attention to Daks faults by saying things like Coop should've caught a badly thrown ball by dak, when people who were watching the game thought that was a badly thrown ball by dak that would be very hard to catch, especially when they showed a replay that made it look even worse.

I cant wait for him to prove you wrong. Then we will see if youre actually a fan of the team. Or a fan of being right.
This is year 5. If he is going to prove people wrong he needs to do it pretty soon.

I like Dak and want him to succeed. His success means the Cowboys success. But he is too slow to read the field and his reaction time is too slow. Unless that improves somehow he is never going to be a QB who can win games FOR you. Dak is an average QB at best. Average QB's can win in the NFL if you put all the right pieces around them.

But you don't give those guys $40m a year.

Smart making your prediction conditional afterwards. Doing so may deflect some future responses if Prescott starts in the Browns game.
I reaffirmed my prediction by stating I expect his play will result in the Cowboys record being 0-3. . . with all blame at the feet of Dak. . . Then its asta la vista baby.

If he is still QB and we lose to the Browns . . . he may go into hiding

Average QBs dont throw for 5000 yards. They also dont have over 40 wins to their name.

You really arent smart are you? Before last season Daks winning percentage against winning teams was hovering close to 50 percent. (league best). We cant win 6 games? Only 8? I guess you missed the seasons that Dak won 13, 9, 10 etc. He never had a losing record lol. My man you need to stop you sound like you have an agenda and dont care about facts. At all.
#Hennessey_King you only liked this because he said i wasnt smart

Good for you. I have no problem with you guys hating Dak, except for the fact you guys won’t admit you hate Dak. I find it bizarre.
I dont hate him. I dispise the performance he displays on the field and I dont Love him enough to continue to watch him drag this team down.

Put him some where else any where. . . QB for another team, pee wee coach. . . used car salesman. . . and I would love to have a beer with him and talk about the Glory days (2016). Maybe get him to sign my jersey.

But I am done waiting and I am curious about Dalton and these WRs

I had high hopes this year. . . but after that Collins injury, I know it was all down hill for Dak

You know we aren’t discussing Dak as a human. We are discussing Dak as a QB of the team. You are a. Dak hater. You despise him as the QB of the team.

NON EXC Tag coming an possible trade for 2021

but its one game lest see the entire 16..
That ship has sailed. If he tanks and Dalton replaces him. His value will be a 3rd at best.

If he pulls up his boot straps and gets back on his feet then we are stuck with him

Dak played well. Was a bit late getting the ball out to #88 on 4th down and needs to keep working on getting rid of the ball when pressured, but he made some nice throws and didn't turn it over.

So many of the same excuses after the game, while the same people were telling us how this offense would explode, because all the pieces are in place...

They even thought Dak could learn a new offense in an off-season, when it took him a week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3. How does any WR build fluidity with a QB like that...
