If he threw the ball directly to him, the defender EASILY break that up - he threw it the one place Schultz could make a play. Ball hits him IN BOTH HANDS!!!! Some of you are just getting ridiculous now.
LMAO there only one ay to throw it ACUURATLY what toward the defender is now off limits, only if you are scared it goes errant that way, you throw at the damn receiver or lead them not behind them away from their momentum. Again excuses for dak, scared to make mistake so throw it away from A defender nowhere really near shultz EXCUSES

there was defender on both sides so just throw it TOO the WR right at him lol is that difficult for dak..??

That would be fair IF McVay also had his team look lost at times. Yet they had no tape on Dallas and still somehow dissected Dallas defense fairly easily. So, that excuse doesn't work. New motto for this team should be:
NO EXCUSE!
McVey is not a new coach to the Rams. There is no excuse....it is now a fact.

Look at the replay again...Schultz was literally chopping his feet, almost standing in place. He had stopped his route. He wasn't moving in the opposite direction of the pass as you are trying to claim.

you are supposed to do that when you have a defender on both side and the route is leading you into another, he was nearly stationary chopping feet is actually a thing , the ball should have been thrown AT the TE..Witten made living of cuttings of routes and sitting down as he was smart to see the route was leading him into a defender , qb must be very accurate and throw it into that window, not to the side. smh..keep on makig excuses for your 31mil man, Dak was not horrible but like last years finish in MN and other games he made some bad throws at the worst times.. those 2 being mentioned a lot especially the 4th and 3 that was to far inside had to be outside and more led.. its happens just admiit it and move on

im of this headache of post

You obviously haven't been watching enough football if you believe that Schultz was NOT to blame for that play. I've seen other player - and not All Pro guys - make those plays in their sleep. Hell, skill guys have been practicing catch drill since little league that should've helped him catch that. But, you believe what you want...

Dak played great.... I thought looked really really good and I'm not a known Dak fan. He's very much improved

I couldn't disagree more. Dak was still displaying some of the same problems that he has over over the last few seasons such as holding onto the ball too long, taking big sacks, making inaccurate throws on 3rd down and that 4th down pass that was too low for CeeDee and did not give him a chance to get that first down. He certainly did not make the case that he is worthy of a huge contract extension next year! He did make a great throw to Gallup on that last drive that was nullified by a bogus penalty but the offense only scored 3 points in the entire second half! I am sure the coaching staff is partly to blame but so is the quarterback.

If Dak doesn't turn it around this season, and I'm hoping he does then we could be faced with paying Andy Dalton to take over next year as a stop-gap towards finding a new franchise QB.

Seriously, you have your opinion and I have mine. If you desperately need the last word on this, feel free. I’m not gonna change your opinion and you’re not changing mine.

Dak will improve with each week that he and his new staff get more settled into their relatively unfamiliar schemes and new people. Anytime a new staff settles into a new team, a vast array of adjustments must become accustomed to. Expecting instant gratification isn't vaguely reasonable.

There is no new scheme. It's the same as before, same terminology, same plays, same players. There isn't much he had to change other than the normal tweeks teams do every year.

Offensively, that's pretty much the case. Defensively, I think there will be more extensive changes in the way we operate. As much as I hate to mention it, however, the TC we've just completed reveals the fact that we've pretty much had a repeat of the old "camp cupcake," whereby there was no tackling at all involved. We were seemingly no more prepared to tackle than a child is ready to tackle a grown man. It hurts me to admit it.

Our game vs. the Rams exposed the fact that we weren't prepared to tackle anywhere near the way the Steelers are doing vs. New York Giants in their game tonight. Our tackling in that Rams contest was nothing more than a bad joke. Unfortunately, some things never seem to change. That situation was extremely disheartening, in terms of our failures. It was a telling curse to our defensive efforts. It begs to be addressed.

Yea I meant offensively only. Defensively it's all completely different. All the hype was exposed. Moving to a different DT philosophy blah blah blah. Different wasn't better. Same issues we've had before, only different coaches, scheme, and some players. Mccoy might have helped some. We shall see what happens, things could change.

The OL has regressed with the departure of Frederick and the absence of La'el, without question. The OL of a few years back is, unfortunately, little more than a memory, at the present time. Once Le'el returns to a healthy and reasonably well-conditioned state, a noticeable change might be seen. By the time Biadacz takes over, things should improve. Dak cannot operate at full capacity without impeccable protection being the case. That will, most assuredly take time to re-develop.
