Colin. There is something wrong with this offense

Doesn't he own the amount of games without a TD record also.

There was some stat last year when this ‘high-powered’ offense went 5 quarters without scoring a point. In 2017-2018, it was like 10 games or so that he couldn’t pass for even 200 yards.

And the claim by Dak-stand this offense was dominant is utterly laughable, when even Dak was throwing players under the bus for not practicing hard, which is why the offense was supposedly struggling.

Well that’s fine and all but if you wanted to be cheap should’ve did it with Jaylon, Lawrence and Zeke. So yeah I really don’t want to hear about why would we want to pay more...that’s just what it is.
If they wanted to tie up Prescott at all costs then I agree they should have let Lawrence or Zeke walk or try to trade one of them. It would hurt the overall strength of the roster but then if they believe Prescott could overcome that then they should have done it.

Whilst I do rate him of all the other players they signed, Lawrence would be the one I would trade if I wanted to keep Prescott. Although that's cheating a bit as we didn't know we would sign Aldon Smith for peanuts. There's an argument that we trade Lawrence now whilst there's some tred on the tire if you want to keep Prescott.

No way I get rid of Zeke. The guy is never injured (whilst other running backs constantly miss games through injuries) and he produces. The contract is fine imo. We can let him go in a couple of years if he is running out of gas without much loss to the salary cap.

So since he played for 500,000 he is owed 40 million a year?

Why do you watch? Is it your love affair with Dak? I hate to break it to you but he's not that good. And neither is your logic.
How did your comprehension skills lead you to believe I said because he played for 500k he should get 40 million? Why do I watch? Because I like watching the Cowboys? There was no logic even attempted in my post you just have a obsession with Dak and your obsession clouded your comprehension skills just like it does with that character Willie "Karen" Beamon.

I'm not advocating getting rid of one of the record. I'm just saying in regards to people wanting to "be cheap" on contracts that should've started before now. I have no issue with Lawrence or Zeke. I think both are leaders of this team and both should be here.

You're the one who thinks our mediocre quarterback deserves 40 million.

I shouldn't even be replying to such stupidity.

I love it when guys, who couldn't find their ***** with both hands and a map, say things like, "If you don't agree with me, you're delusional!!!"

An offseason where no one saw any rounds, live or otherwise, and a new head coach. Transitioning from a coach that was literally a robot.

Almost every game this week looked like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. Maybe they suck, maybe they don't. Who the hell knows. But, Bawlin' Cowturds gets $6 million a year and his only job is to get eyes on his stupid mug. Hope OP is getting his advertising $$

We used to "waste" 1st down by running Zeke into stacked boxes. Essentially giving us only 2 downs to get a 1st. We still waste 1st down by running on 1st down when the opponent is EXPECTING us to do so. Again "wasting an opportunity to go play action. We need to study our own TENDENCIES and adjust accordingly. Our qb is not dependable to be clutch which is odd because he has the ability to run to get a 1st down but chooses to throw for the incomplete at crucial times. He will run, scramble during garbage time or late in the game when the game is already decided.

Vanilla predictable play calling + Eratic sometimes inaccurate qb= 8 and 8 season

I've been a passionate Cowboys fan for 50 years. But, I'm concerned that a culture of non-performance is setting in. The team, staff, and ownership doesn't seem upset enough over losses.
I concur. We seem to have the " we will get them next time" mentality. Urgency and creativity come out during panic time and garbage time when we pad our #1 offense stats. Maybe the OC should sit in the press box like the old days to get a better perspective of what's happening in the game. And call plays accordingly.

Its funny when he got paid 500k I didn't hear you guys saying he should get more...now he wants 40 million and its I can't wait to see his last game. I'm just curious why do you guys even root for the Cowboys? Is it your love affair of Jerry? What is keeping you guys here?
The 70’s and 90’s is what is keeping most of us around. Hoping for a return to that kind of success.

With each passing year the likelihood of that diminishes

I have felt like this for years. It very difficult to get a mentality like expecting to lose and hoping to win out of the psyche of a team once it’s instilled. I still wonder though if anything would be different if Dez didn’t get hosed on the overturned catch. Two playoff wins in a row might have changed a locker room mentality for years.
