1. I thought we got out coached on both sides of the ball. Examples to follow.

2. Brown and Awuzie are constantly a step behind the receiver. Awuzie’s int. was a nice catch, but terrible throw. They are below average corners. Diggs is going to be a very good corner. Best play he made was the great tackle on 3rd down to get us the ball back.

3. If you have a strong pass rush and the other team is getting rid of the ball quickly, get in the receivers face and bump him at the line, mess up the timing of the route. You only need to cover for about 2 seconds! Coaches should have made this adjustment early in the game.

4. I think as the season progresses we have the players to be very good to excellent vs the run, though Jaylon is mediocre vs the run, and the coaches can move players around a little bit pre snap to help out the players.

5. The O line was terrible. Dak was pressured constantly and Zek constantly broke tackles at the LOS to gain yards.

6. Kellen Moore could have put his players in better position to make plays( screens, draws, bootlegs). Kind of like the Rams coach did to us!

7. Backup TE needs to learn to catch!

8. Players. Do your job! How many times are we going to allow the slow QB to boot leg right around us. A Belicheat coached defense does not do this dumb crap.

- i cannot figure out what the hell we were trying to accomplish with rotating DL guys - on every single play. Not every series,,, but every play ?
how can you gain continuity and focus coming in and out every play and every other side ?

- i didn't care for how most of our DL played. Misdirection, quick huddle and quick screens, quick passes just confused us, had our heads spinning
and took a lot of gas outta us. Aldon Smith was clearly the lone stand out, imo.
Neither Dlaw or Griffn disrupt or were big factors , both offsides several plays.
Crawford was awful in this game- got bowled over vs run than anyone; and why is he on the goal line instead of Poe ? Woods was non-factor as well.
Hill had a mix game, but at least got a couple of in backfield tackles vs Crawford. Rams so-so RBs ran for 136 yds and gashed our middle DTs.

- i just did not care for how jaylon and LVE played - confused and out of position, the better teams that excel at misdirection can fool us into however
they like. Sometimes i think Jaylon is so lost and behind plays while others i wonder if he has a lot of loaf and lack of hustle in him. He limits us.

- Screens continue to rattle us as opposing teams know we simply cannot stop them ,, Rams constantly threw many of them against us.
and NFL teams will continue to do so. Our LBs are so useless against them. Especially Jaylon

- maybe just me, but i like to see DCs on the sideline in face of players, personally directing them, firing them and rooting them on . making their presence and energy felt upfront ...... vs seeing Nolan stuffed up in the coaches booth.. Seems like the better DC's are always on the sidelines with players..

- Why does it seem like Kellen Moore is always more conservative On The ROAD , than what he is at HOME ?
And why is it that Kellen does not believe in running the RB screens, something that was popular and more effective under Linehan ?
He just doesn't seem to care for RB screens.

- i did see a couple of plays -per jet sweep- where Pollard was involved in the game, and in spelling Zeke, but still seems he's under-ultilized ,
per one with his skill set. Will our RBs be limited to just swing passes and dump off passes under Moore ?

- and many keep bringing predictability, and we still see Moore preferring to run the ball on first downs , tipping his tendency quite often .

- How much of the shorter pass game , (one deep shot in entire game?) was the game plan of Kellen on the road, ..and how much was Dak not being able
to access the field downfield because of the constant rushers in his face in the pocket ?

Regarding our LBers and screens. I agree they seem clueless and out of position all the time. Also, our defensive linemen should to be prepared for screens to. They know teams are going to try to run screens vs them.
Yep, Moore needs to use more screens, especially when our O line is getting their butt kicked consistently.
We got out coached vs Rams.

The defense did not seem prepared AND did not do their job. Does Lawrence EVER play the bootleg? NO

I dont like saying it and I am surprised by it, but yes they got out coached bigtime!
Not a very good showing for the coaches, and I blame them for the loss not the players.

I did not know they rotate DL every play lol , that is crazy!

Also it did not seem like they adjusted to anything, or were very slow to adjust.

I hate to admit it also, but it looked like a Garrett coached team. No adjustments. McVay consistently put his offensive players in good position to make plays. I did not see this from Moore.
With better coaching we win this game!

exactly, if MM just ties the game with a fg, no telling how it ends.
I bashed JG when he goofed, I will do the same to MM and Kellen the boy genius :)

On a positive note, nice to see Jaylon Smith not do his stupid swipe after he made a couple of plays.

You could be right, but I think we, “have the beef” and athletic ability up front to be really good vs the run, IF the coaches help out with some timely and smart pre snap movement, and Jaylon breaks down sooner and stops over running so many plays.

p.

:lmao:I wonder why?

What is mind boggling is that the Ref is standing right there watching that mauling. Tore his head off while he's cocking back to throw. LOL
