Apparently, you can't block a guy in this position while moving towards you own endzone. I think it's hard to say CeeDee was moving at all, he posted up and laid the shot from a standing position.
Exactly.

It was much different than the blocker coming in from a running start to blow someone up.

I think they said it was because Lamb was facing the wrong direction (towards the opposite goal line) when blocking. It looked good to me, but I guess that's the rule.

Explanation was that Lamb was moving back toward the Cowboy side (LOS).

More of todays BS , Kitty Kat football , glad I had the opportunity to see it when it was still a mans game . This is an annoying penalty ridden farce that we are forced to tolerate now.

That was a great block in what used to be football

Why are we acting like this is a new rule. This is year two in the NFL, three in NCAA, and three and four in high school. It’s the most devistating hit in football and kids have actually died . I’ll admit, I feasted on these type plays, and have even designed plays just to get them in, but that’s when they were legal.

its stupid. gives the refs another reason to make a questionable call.
Its really not stupid. You cant have offensive players teeing off on “defenseless” defenders, thats why they changed the rule. Give CeeDee credit because there was nothing malicious here, he initiated contact and let up, he wasn’t trying to take his head off unlike Tate’s punk ***.

They said you got to blocked your hands? Whatis lamb dispose to do in that situation

Idk but thats how ive always blocked in that situation...and ive been hit like that before

The defender wasnt defenseless he was in position to make the tackle and lamb made a block

You can't block someone towards the line of scrimmage, it was a legit call.

Ever since Heath's blindside block on Tyler Lockette that ended his career, the rule changed.
That wasn't a "blind side" block at all. They were both facing each other during the collision.

Why didn't they call Personal Foul on the Atlanta Safety when he drilled Noah Brown? Wasn't he a defenseless receiver???? All the rules are lame, but at least be consistent in how you call the game

Not only is a flag it's dangerous
Football is dangerous in general. You can try and take as much out of it as possible but that doesn't change what the sport is. Unless you want it to be flag football.
