What if the Cowboys blew the game in that fashion, not the Falcons? Would this site have survived the meltdown to end all meltdowns?

McCarthy, Dak, Jaylon, DLaw - no one would be spared. Jerry? Stephen? Roasted. :muttley:

The site is still around after the Lions comeback with Bobby Carpenter leading the way and Matt Flynn comeback of years past.

Would of been some fun posts to read/troll tho

Didn't we lose one to the Giants like that in the past - up 13 in the last 5 minutes or something

Talking about the Aaron Glenn/RW31 debacle vs Moss(Commanders?)

Thered be plenty of Jerry defenders saying how early it is and it's only two games...which is correct...

But the only impact I've seen McCarthy make on this team has been a negative one, and I cant figure if I feel stunned or foolish.

I think most people in here believe the Cowboys should be 0-2, so no big deal. On to SEA.

up 12 with 5:41 to play and lost

That's the one I remember:

4 12:43 Cowboys Miles Austin 6 yard pass from Tony Romo (Dan Bailey kick) 22 27
5:41 Cowboys Dez Bryant 50 yard pass from Tony Romo (Dan Bailey kick) 22 34
3:14 Giants Jake Ballard 8 yard pass from Eli Manning (Lawrence Tynes kick) 29 34
0:46 Giants Brandon Jacobs 1 yard rush (Danny Ware run) 37 34

Was that the one where Austin lost the ball in the lights?

Who cares.

Dallas won.

That's all that matters.

Yep. I think most people also thought we'd put up a lot of yards on Atlanta but just not win. I'm hoping the unlikely win like that can motivate this team. I remember when Romo put up over 500 yards passing in a loss. Not much talk about his great passing day.

What if? Have you not been watching the games for the last 20 years or so?? We are always on the other side of these losses!

The Dallas Cowboys - Snatching defeat from the jaws of Victory since the mid-90s!

I do remember a game like that. But nothing that unusual about it. Giants get a TD, Dallas goes 3 and out, Giants get another TD. The one thing I do recall is that Romo missed a wide open Austin down the right sideline that would have iced the game on that 3rd down play.

There was a Commanders game I want to say we had at least a 2TD lead with close to 2 min left and lost the game. I think it was RGIII era.

Edit: it was 2005, Cowboys were leading 13-0 with 4 min to play, Mark Brunell had two long TD plays to Santana Moss to win the game 14-13. Not quite as bad as yesterday, but heartbreaking nonetheless.
