meh not hearing it Ryan's defenses and his fathers and brothers were great, until he got here..

the coddling begins..i guess dumbing down defenses for the less fortunate players not smart enough to run them.i remember all the told you so when scandrick, ex players and opponents say they knew what was coming defensively. Refreshing we have coach hard to read defenses and now already after 2 games we want easy again..

Rob Ryan failed pretty much everywhere he went in the pros.

Basically he is saying that he misses not having to put in any effort or be accountable under the Garrett ERA.

This whole having to pay attention and think thing is killing his sunglass marketing time.

I actually thought he played ok this week and I vowed to lay off him for now....then he pulls this. Only him.

When Jaylon Smith shows a willingness to actually do the dirty work that goes along with being a linebacker (stacking and shedding, violently filling gaps), instead of just wanting to run fast, I'll start to care about his opinion. He's the one overrunning and failing to diagnose. Package this turd with Tank for a bag of Doritos and be done.

Hmmm...he does seem hyper and misdirected. When Lee is healthy...you can see him laser beam right to the ball with a stuffing hit. Smith seems to be flying around wherever the ball...isn't.

A few exceptions of course, but even the blind squirrel gets a nut. I mean finds a a nut.

Jesus Christ Jaylon....can’t u keep this private? it’s week 3 talk to the coach or give him and you time to get the scheme down or know what works and what’s a fit for his players. This is a ridiculously immature quote to say publicly-if it’s an accurate quote

Mosher, of course, ignores Nolan’s history. One of the criticisms of Nolan and why many of his more recent defenses were suspect is that his scheme was often too complicated.

So Mosher can take his dig at Smith but the reality is Smith is saying something that has been alleged before. Griffen just said a couple of days ago he’s going back to his three point stance, so already it seems the players don’t think Nolan is doing them any favors.

Granted not sure Smith should be airing this publicly.

IMO, when we look back I think we are going to end up admitting that Nolan was a questionable hire.

Nolan is a bum. His job history proves it.

This is what I said prior to the season. All of Marinelli's detractors didn't want to hear it. "Complicated" schemes are, for the most part, feast or famine. When they work, you look like a genius. When they don't, you look like an idiot.

Real football isn't Madden. You can't just draw something up and expect seamless execution. Athletes, for the most part, aren't thinkers. The more you ask these guys to think, the slower their reactions. In a game where a split second hesitation is the difference between closing a hole or allowing a big run, the less these guys have to think the better.

lol....Marinelli and Richard was killed for playing simple defense, now you know why. The players can't handle it, they make too many mistakes...lol
These are Jason Garrett guys. How other teams can run complicated blitz packages and looks but we always go back to simplifying the defense or offense.
