They are easier to find when you draft a guy with more than 1 years worth of experience...I'm no QB guru but it seems like common sense that the skins reached big time

Allen was Rivera's guy in Carolina. Ron had no connection with Haskins. It was just a matter of time.

It's essentially a race to 7-8 wins. The only team I'd eliminate at this point is NYG.

Honestly don't see how they can get a good assessment of Haskins playing behind a garbage line with no WR's (McLaurin is decent, everyone else is trash) or TE's or RB's. Good luck Kyle.

Yep, was scrolling down to see if anyone beat me to it but I agree.
The only thing keeping them down was Haskins.
Their defense is by FAR the best in the division.
Not saying Allen is gonna light it up, but he can do enough to beat Dallas at least once and win enough games to take this awful division

I wouldn't necessarily say he was awful as an Aggie, but Sumlin definitely did him no favors.
Kind of ironic, actually. Both QBs that Sumlin juggled around, causing himself to be fired, are now both starting in the NFL.

it hasnt changed IMHO Shane would have been a better QB long term then Sam and yet they wanted to run the colleges gimmick offenses vs a traditional offense amnd i like Sam but hes Dak 2.0 in college and im betting has nearly no change in the nfl.. Shane reminded me of Colt and could be solid backup like Colt has become..look at SMU less talent and Shane changed the entire culture around there
so all the coaches since mack , btw MB turned down Johnny football and someone else cant remember , all mistakes , nothings changed .. Longhorn Hc seems more focused on satisfying promises he made to parents and alum then actually changing anything and you want to talk Horns are they not in a symbiotic parallel with the DC the last 5 years its like im watching the same teams just changing uniforms..

Just read Alex Smith is now back-up, meaning Haskins will be inactive for the remainder of the season unless there's an injury....damn

I guess Haskins more of a run threat though he was never considered a running QB, nor has he a lot of speed as other QB's. But still decent speed.
Haskins was considered a very accurate QB in college. Not sure how he has done in the NFL.

I personally love Mack Brown for not locking down JFF. Manziel and Sumlin gave us Aggie fans some of the most entertaining football in years.
But, Allen should do alright for Riverboat Ron up in Washington, he looked promising to an extent as a Panther.
