lol.. blueblood tried to tell me he was playing well.....lol
He doesn't even understand the simple fundamentals of nose tackle. if you feel yourself being washed out of position as a NT, you're taught to drop to a knee and create a puke, this joker just allow himself to be washed 5 yards down the field and create gaping holes.

Nolan doesnt know what they are trying to do either.
Maybe that is part of his strategy.

He does not know what his players are doing, his players do not know what they are doing, therefore, the other team does not know what his players are doing either.

It probably sounded good in the off-season after a few beers in a room with other coaches glad to have a job :D

Ill preface this by saying i havent rewatched this game and in all honesty, i don't have NFL Gamepass so i havent been able to watch any All-22's to date. My source for this comment/observation is mostly a combo of Marcus Mosher, Landon McCool, and the guys on various different Dallascowboys.com podcasts.

Anyways, what i read/heard from the aforementioned cowboys insiders was that Poe actually wasn't playing all that bad last week and the week before, that he was taking up blockers like he was brought in to do, and that Jaylon Smith and Joe Thomas (but mostly Jaylon Smith-**Shocker**) were the ones at fault, not getting off blockers or hitting the right gaps. Is there truth to this? Or was Poe just exceptionally bad against the Giants??

Gallimore was ok, effort was high if nothing else.

I'll take that over what Poe is producing right now...amazes me coaches can't see what's going on....and are willing to live w/ this. It's like we have 100,000 is salary cap space....which isn't the case.

There are guys on the street right now...that could play better.

he's still can't get washed 5 yards up the field even though he has 2 blockers.

never wanted him.

I was fine starting Woods, which would have been a better option in hindsight.

The guy I didn't want out of the fourteen free agents who didn't work out was HaHa Clinton-Dix, who crapped out faster than any of the others. I still think there is some backstory there that we don't know yet.
