If Dalton can get a starting job in 2021, we could get a 3rd comp pick

Silly thread. If he’s healthy he isn’t going anywhere

He's only on a 1 year contract, and if Dak is healthy he may look for a team that will give him a chance to start rather than be a backup at backup pay.

That's interesting since he went to school in Fort Worth and played all those years in Cincinnati. I guess he just likes the DFW area and chose Dallas for a permanent residence.
Meh all around the country ppl choose Texas as their permanent residence. I know a few ppl out here(dc-Baltimore region) who plan on moving to Texas in the next 5 years..... now sTate taxes and an abundance of land is pretty attractive

It's not as if most people don't choose to live near where they work, and, of course, state income taxes are based on where you work, not where your residence is. Of course an NFL QB can afford 2 residences.

I have seen him a couple of times in past offseasons at an Alberstons in the Ft Worth area. So I assume he has ties to something or someone in the Ft. Worth area.

Dalton is at the end of his career, he’s not going to be signing a #1 starter contract - there’s just too many young talented QBs out there sitting and waiting. He’s a nice backup and we’ll see what he can do with the best receiving core in football (Gallup made 2 phenomenal catches that were so close to the sideline yesterday- they both had to be reviewed, if either of those catches were overturned we’re probably having a different conversation today).
