Did anyone see Dak try and bang is foot on the turf

to try and fix his ankle? I just rewatched the game and saw him bang it on the turf trying to put it back in place.
My wife actually picked up on that before I did. Maybe he thought it was dislocated and he could pop it into place? That seems a little far fetched, but it's the only explanation I can think of. It does show how desperately he wanted to play though. Gotta love that.

This is not a shot at Dak at all, just curious.

Didn't Walt Garrison play a game against SF in the playoffs with a broken ankle? I couldn't imagine what that took.

yeah I was just thinking he was trying to stay in the game if he could put it back in place

I think it was a broken arm or collar bone.
Many remember it as a broken leg or ankle or foot. But is was an upper body part.

I did. I wondered at the time if it did more harm to the injury because it was clearly a fracture.

Tough dude.

it probably did, I ruptured my patella where my knee cap was half way up my thigh, folks players were yelling don't grab it, I did and it went further up my thigh. no pain though, it was weird.

Crazy that he literally tried snapping and slamming it back into place like that. Dude didn’t even care about the pain, he was trying to fix it and go back in. Love that attitude. I really feel for him man. Seeing the teams reactions was crazy. Gallup has his hands on his helmet, Schultz looked defeated. Crazy how one player has so much impact. Team’s gonna have a different vibe these next coming weeks.
