My wife actually picked up on that before I did. Maybe he thought it was dislocated and he could pop it into place? That seems a little far fetched, but it's the only explanation I can think of. It does show how desperately he wanted to play though. Gotta love that.to try and fix his ankle? I just rewatched the game and saw him bang it on the turf trying to put it back in place.

This is not a shot at Dak at all, just curious.
Didn't Walt Garrison play a game against SF in the playoffs with a broken ankle? I couldn't imagine what that took.

I did. I wondered at the time if it did more harm to the injury because it was clearly a fracture.
Tough dude.
Just looked it up.I think it was a broken arm or collar bone.
Many remember it as a broken leg or ankle or foot. But is was an upper body part.
Dak is tough as nails. He remained remarkably calm for such a horrible injury.
"You really hope it's not a cramp here, Jim"I was watching and it took me a few seconds to register that his foot was sideways.
Id be flopping around like a fish if i saw my ankle like thatDak is tough as nails. He remained remarkably calm for such a horrible injury.
