Irvin, Harper, Kmart is hard to beat. Talk about three dudes that just complemented each other perfectly
have to disagree MI was a true #1 go WR made the hof Haper and Kmart were definite #2 BS #3 WRS without MI they were really nothing..

when AC disappeared Sunday Lamb and Gallup said no problem, i believe any of those 3 are starters true #1s if offense just kept 1 to build around..

thats why the OP is putting them up high

look at this way what other 3 were 1a 1b and 1c with Cedrick wilson as a 4 that could be a 2? theres very few on these lists that could top that so while its a short time they are playing is the only reason they cant be #1 yet but depth and quality , might be the best..

Biggest names, but they didn't have great production or recognition. All past their primes. Not a Pro Bowl between them.
That team also had Duane Thomas, Calvin Hill and Walt Garrison. They ran the ball about half the time back then and DBs were allowed to mug receivers. Those are big reasons their production was lower.

Was Stepfret William's on that team?

Yes but he got released when Chris Warren got hurt. We had to resign Paint Man aka Sherman Williams who we actually spent a 2nd rounder on in 1995. Memories.

I am a Dak fan. I felt sick all last night about his injury. But I am a Dallas Cowboy fan above all regarding this franchise. So I hope Dak heals and can come back and lead this team.

But today I am an Andy Dalton fan. So below is the status of this WR crew including tight ends.

What can Dallas expect from these players now that they have a change at quarterback?

And what is your opinion on how Dalton's mobility will affect the overall WR stats, considering Dallas is playing With a HOF in Martin, a sketchy lineman in Williams, and three rookies? Will he be taking more sacks that end drives?

AND can Cee Dee Lamb keep on pace with his Rookie of the Year season?

I am terrible with these chart things. Apologies.

  • Amari Cooper - Games 5, Rec 39, Yards 424, Avg 10.9, Long 58, TD 1, 1st Dwn 23, 1st% 58.97, 20+ 4, 40+ 1
  • Michael Gallup - Games 5, Rec 17, Yards 348, Avg 20.5, Long 52, TD 1, 1st Dwn 14, 1st% 82.35, 20+ 6, 40+ 2
  • Cee Dee Lamb - Games 5, Rec 29, Yards 433, Avg 14.0, Long 43, TD 2, 1st Dwn 20, 1st% 69.87, 20+ 9, 40+ 1
  • Cedrick Wilson - Games 5, Rec 12, Yards 163, Avg 13.6, Long 42, TD 2, 1st Dwn 9, 1st% 75, 20+ 2, 40+ 2
  • Noah Brown - Games 5, Rec 7, Yards 80, Avg 11.4, Long 20, TD 0, 1st Dwn 1, 1st% 14.29, 20+ 1, 40+ 0

  • Dalton Schultz - Games 5, Rec 19, Yards 225, Avg 11.8, Long 28, TD 2, 1stDwn 13, 1st% 68.42, 20+ 3, 40+ 0
  • Blake Bell - Games 5, Rec 5, Yards 71, Avg 14.2, Long 24, TD 0 1st Dwn 4, 1st % 80, 20+ 1, 40+ 0
Yes, followed by the worse defense in sports(not just nfl) history.

Not a position group that takes teams to super bowls rings have nothing to do with it. This is a QB & trenches league
Again......until they get rings, and contend consistently in the latter rounds......don't qualify......at all.

so the randy moss and chris carter duo wasn’t the best in vikings history by your logic.
In the Vikings history.....there ain't no rings AT ALL.....in the Cowboy history, I'm going with Irvin/Harper/Novacek.....or Drew Pearson/Tony Hill/BJ Dupree/BJohnson/G Richards. The benchmark is rings and contending.....all we have is currently "flashes in the pan"......do something/accomplish something before the accolades are granted.....and they all been on the team for a "minute". But it's ok you like them like that....I don't.

That's a thing to look at too for receivers - RBs catching the ball.

I agree that benchmarks are titles, but it’s a Star much more for QBs and coaches than WRs

With Dak hurt doubt this holds, but our top three was on pace for:

Amari Cooper 1,357 yards
Michael Gallup 1,114 yards
Ceedee Lamb 1,386 yards

That's pretty outstanding!
Not if we don’t win some more games. Unless it’s just fantasy football we're playing.

Could be but who cares? It’s an unbalanced team.

People praise Jerrah and Steven for having a great player fall in their lap and where did that get us?

Until we start winning more games and possibly a superbowl no

If the defense is the worse defense in nfl history, and the cowboys are putting up very high offensive numbers, I dont see how wins and losses determine whether the receivers are the best ever or not. Im not saying they are or they arent...Tony Hill, Drew Pearson and Butch Johnson would love to debate it. Example 98 Falcons beat the Vikings with Moss, Carter and the slots name escapes me at the moment, but that surely doesnt take away from the vikings WR group.

I don't expect a huge drop in WR production. We'll probably be down most games if recent history stays current.
Dalton was a decent starter in this league and has 3 legit receivers to toss the rock to.
Don't think Moore will call too many 5-7 step passes due to our tackles being fairly green.
Seemed Dalton had no issue connecting with CDL the few times he did. On the same page

All three are under contract next year.

2022+, probably not.

i do expect a drop down as Dalton cannot physically do some of the things Dak can do as a passer.
But i do like that Dalton is not a sitting immobiile statue

It’s without a doubt in my mind the deepest group of receivers we’ve had from top to bottom.

Jake Reed was a 1000 yard receiver with the Vikings when Moss joined the crew.
