Forget the quarterback, we have a defense that can't stop anybody. We just 'pulled it out' having to 'outscore' the worst offense in the league 37-34!

If we can't show some semblance of stopping anything or anybody, it won't matter who the quarterback is.

Dak was playing out of his mind and we were still fortunate not to be winless.
Every time I get ready to post, I read what you already posted,,, first..
Good job,, your posts keep me silenced... :D

I re-adjusted my expectations when my worst fear came true - that Mike Nolan really did suck.

Were we going to the Super Bowl before Dak went down? Translation is this is a free pass for everyone. Now Jerry won't have to make any changes in the offseason, because we were "on track" before Dak went down.

I have certainly adjusted mine.

And not for the better

HAHA... was gonna say the same thing. My expectations have been reduced so much over the past 25 years...
Pretty sure the only adjustment that could actually be made would be if they went up. They can't get any lower.

Nobody talks out of both sides of their mouth like Jerry Jones.
What is this Jerrah speak..

"Dak is an incremental part of the success of this team"..

Err.. Jerrah he is the team bro.

Incremental? That means 'a small bit of'.

Last time I heard you were ready to 'incrementally pay him $35 mil+'..

That's more like here..take it all..and here's the key to my yatch too.

It's yours ..just win.

"We should adjust expectations. (It's) different than optimism. But we should adjust our expectations. Dak is a very incremental part of the potential success to this football team," Jones said Friday on the K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 The Fan. "On the other hand, if we don't reach where we want to go ... and the ultimate success is to win the championship ... it will not be because of Andy Dalton. It will not be because of our play at quarterback. He's capable of stepping in and playing at that level."

Dalton is no Dak. He's not as mobile, as lively, as explosive, nor does he have as many reps with the Cowboys play-makers.

Did he really say "incremental" or is that a misquote?

that Parcells' line only seems to apply to us when we have a bad record. When we have a good record, it is "win in January"...
I like to think of the playoffs as a different season. If you think about it the win loss record loses it's meaning when it's single elimination.
