There are always lots of fans who prefer losing and a better draft position unless a Super Bowl contender.
Yes, the NFC East is currently an embarrassment with three teams under new coaches, along with lots of injuries. Still, I’ll go on record now.

Even at 6-8, 7-9, 8-8, I’d rather finish as NFC East Champions with a home field playoff game than be one of the trash teams that couldn’t win in a weak division.

In madden I won the super bowl, traded cooper and Brown for an early first. Cleared out the cap hit, and had plenty of FA money. If Jerry were a good GM he'd just do that.

well, its about superbowls and not winning the NFC Least....so going to playoffs, with no chance at superbowl and losing at home because why?

I rather have the better draft pick at this point....I think at this point its clear what this team is and this team ain't close to being anything superbowl quality.....

it's never been a good debate, tank a game or play your 4th string if you are 0-15 going into the last game but not at this point in the season

Theres no need to "tank" per se.

That leaves a nasty type of taste around the locker room and they just wont do that as an organization.

Now....they MAY just quit at some point because these players have crap for self pride...especially the ones who are financially set for life, but let's see.....

Theres a long way to go, and I can see them being NFC East champs and winning a playoff game as much as I see then being 5-11.

Dont root for the draft pick. That doesn't make sense this year. Not yet anyway

Depends on Knight. So far, he looks pretty good. Not Tyron of course, but more than serviceable.

I'd like to see the defense improve over the course of the year. I'd like to think that as they get better with the scheme it gets better.

Im not...…….Ill go on record that I would rather get a top 5-10 pick in the draft then win a useless division title because everyone else sucks more then we do. By the way...……...at 6-10 new would still be a trash team.

It's a comical "debate" since the team doesn't tank even when some fans want it.

Players don't care about draft position - they care about their next contract. Putting bad video out there to tank won't help them.

Jerry didn't sign Dalton to tank if Dak went down. He signed him to avoid 2015 if Dak went down. Sorry, tankers.
