Cowherd finally said it. Terrible organization. They have not made a conference turtle game in 25 years. As a matter of fact 80% of posts are exactly about this topic.
Jerry is a terrible owner, we are not America’s team. Jerry has ruined his own brand by being an egomaniac.

I kept telling you guys......... Jed is a common thief who has stolen from all of us.

wish somebody would post his rant from a year or 2 ago when he talked about over a certain period...we were 2nd in wins behind new england.
had glowing things to say about the team and compared Dak to russell wilson.

fast forward a few months into the season...he started trashing Dak and said stop with the russell wilson comparisons...even tho it was him who made it a few months earlier.

now this.
not surprised.
2 faced.
quit watching after the stop with the comparsions rant.

Cowherd is top 2 worst sports personalities and he's not #2.

I've said this before, Cownerd was a sports radio guy and did TV sports in Portland, Oregon before being hired by BSPN. He was boring even then. Still don't understand why BSPN wanted him. He's so dull.

Bingo. Sure the Cowboys still make money because a lot of our fans are suckers.

Jerry's quest to prove he's "a football guy" failed. Adding his son to the equation only made it worse. This team is going nowhere unless the decision-making process changes. How many more decades of the same guys floundering do some folks need to stop thinking they're going to fix the problems they create?

Scream about players, coaches, and contracts all you like - they are not the problem. They are symptoms.

Jerry is actually one of the greatest owners in sports history. You don't get a gold jacket by being a terrible owner. Dallas wins at everything but football games.

He's a bad GM. It's amazing to me that he still can't accept it. Both owners in the NFL who have GM powers are two of the teams who haven't won big in the postseason in a generation. It's not the pathway to success. Al Davis came close with Rich Gannon though.

He could have salvaged the "good owner" legacy a few years ago....but I believe he has blown that at this point.

He will be remembered for being the guy that helped make other owners rich....and helped them win championships by keeping his own team out of it.

What a guy.

Al Davis was at least an NFL coach and scout.

Playing guard at Arkansas in the 60s hardly qualifies you to run an NFL team now.

Edit...AFL...whatever it was.

He's a "great owner" if your measuring stick is expanding the NFL's revenue base, which is why he's in the HOF.

Separating the GM from him is nonsense. A "great owner" wouldn't allow the same GM to accomplish nothing for over two decades. In that sense, he's a terrible owner. He'd rather fail his way than succeed another way. As a fan there is nothing "great" about that owner.

At one time, you could probably make the “good owner, bad GM” argument about Jerry, but not anymore.

Jerry is toxic.

Even if he stepped down as GM, the terrible culture he creates would remain. It’s like gravity. He pulls everything around him and corrupts the power structures that should be in place.
