The combo of our DT's and Jaylon Soft has to be the worst in NFL history. You simply cant recover from 3 12 year old girls manning the middle of your defense.

Throw Worley in there too... that is 4 liabilities on that side of the ball. Ugly football to say the least. No heart. No pride. No effort.

But what is more bizarre is why these players aren’t benched?! Ot better yet— cut!! Go show the film to JJ and ask him what he wants you to do as the HC?! These are the players he signed as the GM?

“But we don’t have anybody else!!” Is NOT an answer. Cutting the loafers and signing high effort PS players would send exactly the right message.

We are an entitled, pampered, weak-minded, low effort 2-4 team. If we fail to take accountable action and grow a pair of balls as an organization from this crap-show, the same thing will continue to happen.

The play and product on the field are a direct result of the leadership and culture of the FO and coaching staff

If its as bad as the film shows why are the coaches allowing it?

Because nearly every coach will always error on the side of the more experienced "talented" or paid players.

I completely agree. And this film makes clear that Hamilton was at least playing hard and putting in the effort. More than Poe or Crawford are doing. Sit them, cut them, whatever. I'd flat out cut them but it's not my call. But a message needs to be sent that poor effort is unacceptable.

Only play I sort of disagree on is that blocking play with Brandon Knight.

Should he have put Baker on his back? Sure.
Could he have held onto the block a little bit longer? Maybe.

I think he was anticipating the ball to be gone at that point.

And I definitely don’t absolve Zeke from being responsible for fumbling. That’s on Zeke.

Jimmy Johnson would've forced them to watch this AND THEN DO IT THEMSELVES!! --- because these high school kids have more guts than our defense. (Notice how the Coach handled doubt/fear/complaining in the clip and was able to get the 100% he needed.) Great movie for the family and the kids.



Watched this with my boys years ago and they never forgot the lessons it taught.

Is Gregory back this week? I'd have no problem starting him and Aldon Smith and let DLaw spell them. As far as Jaylon goes, it looked like there was something wrong with him besides effort. Some underlying issue. It looks like he actually can't run.

It's recent. Someone posted it here. He was basically saying most of these defensive schemes aren't rocket science. He was alluding towards effort.

I just rewatched the play in question in real-time. Dalton had the ball apx. 4-5 seconds before he dumped it to Zeke. That’s way longer than a typical pass play just take. I hardly blame Knight for kind of abandoning the block. It will be a lesson learned for him.

If Jimmy Johnson were here, the whole team would have been blasted while forced to watch this crappy effort over and over. Then 1/4th of the team would have been fired just to send the message that such half-arsed effort will not be tolerated.

Jimmy would have been giving them a reaming on the sidelines.
