Cut DiNucci some slack. He is a rookie 3rd string QB without the benefit of a real offseason or preseason games. Of course he is going to be a shipwreck.

So who should Dallas sign to play Qb this week? Dalton is probably gonna be out and The Nooch is not an nfl QB.

I get wanting Trevor Lawrence, but how do you think he's going to do anything behind this offensive line? I don't trust La'el or Tyron anymore to stay healthy.

Dak wasn't the issue. In fact, he was keeping is in games despite this defense and everything else. Drafting Trevor Lawrence won't make us any better if he gets killed every play.

Rebuild the line on both sides of the ball, and build the secondary.
To poke any holes in the idea that if we get a new awesome QB all will change, it wont. It never will. It never does. You must have competence on the other side of the ball too or else no matter how much you score, the other team will always be confident in kicking you in the teeth. And then they will come for your QB. Trevor is good but not the solution.

False.
It is playing much much worse. And Zack was in for like 10 plays against AZ.
Man now this is the go to. You guys said all year that Dalton would look as good or better than Dak...its staring you in your face that he isn't and now you are making excuses that he needs a offensive line.....the guy isn't good. When eh has time to throw or when he doesn't.

Dak was 14/21 for 166 and a pick that game. Dalton was 9/11 for 111 and no picks.

Dallas had a slight lead when dak went down if I recall, but they also got a defensive td from Anthony Brown before that.

Dalton also led two field goal drives in the last few minutes.

Not saying dalton is anywhere near dak, but dalton did every bit as much to earn that win as dak did
You do realize Dalton fumbled the lead away. Literally

I think the best argument is that instead of spending $40M on a QB next year, when the cap is forcast to be reduced by $31M, drafting a QB and putting everything else into defense is a better use of your money.

I can see both sides of the argument, but I whole heartedly believe a Justin Fields led team, with every other substantial asset put into defense, puts us in a much better position in both the short and long term.
