The problem with Jaylon is part physical and part mental.
Physical...........he is clearly not the same player he was in college, go back and watch film of him in college and then watch film of him in the pros, it is night and day difference and its understandable. He suffered one of the most horrific injuries I have ever seen at the college level, so expecting to him play like he did before he got hurt is not realistic, he is never going to be the player that he was before, ever. And the main difference is lateral agility, changing direction side to side is extremely limited.
Mental............I hate to say it, but he is playing like he is scared of getting hurt, that is why he is always on the perimeter of plays, always looking around to see who is around, running himself out of bounds or running into blocks intentionally. Everything he does on the field is to make sure he is not in a position where he gets caught up in a pile or his leg gets hit or pinned under somebody, that is why he is always moving and when there is a pile he makes sure he is on top and not on the bottom.
