Not good enough. That won't get us Lawrence or Fields.
Yeah cowboys will have to 100% jump jacksonville if they want either.

Giants and Miami aren't in play for a QB but one of them could be interested in a trading down a few spots if a team like Washington or Minnesota wanted to move up (patriots need QB but I don't see them dumping a ton of draft capital to move up, especially with a solid QB class this year )

Not so fast on the Giants out on a QB. Jones wasn’t drafted by Giants current staff. They have no ties to him.

Hopefully they use the top 5 pick on a premium position with career longevity instead of squandering it on a RB.

I still think Zeke was the right pick in 2016.

He was picked because Romo was believed to be on in his last couple of years in the league and was playing at a high level. However, he was injury prone. So Zeke would have taken a lot off of Romo's shoulders and given him a much better chance to stay healthy.

The extension is what was the mistake in my opinion.

QB is not the Problem. Dak can ball.
We need to fix the DEF and the OG spot next to Smith.
Michigan's OT Mayfield wouldnt be a bad Idea either. If he slides to the 2nd. To eventually replace Smith or Collins or if a really good trade falls in there laps.
But all the rest of those picks need to be def. Big fan of walking away from this draft with Parson OLB, Wade CB and Ray DT or Campbell CB.
Really want Donovan Wilson at SS and Reggie Robinson at FS.
The secondary would be so much better o er all
Dak can play... true.... but he is going to cost a fortune and he is not the kind that can lift a team by himself.

There is speculation that the reason Miami started Tua is b/c they have to see right now what they have........ so they might be in play depending on what Tua does the rest of the way.. And the NYG would absolutely dump Danial Jones for a mega upgrade at QB. I can see either Miami or the NYG trading their incumbent Qbs to go get Fields or Lawrence.

We have no shot at Lawrence unless we get the #1 pick.

We have to take the best player of course but I hope it’s an offensive tackle. Put him at right tackle move Collins back to left guard. It’ll rebuild our dominant line and have a contingency if one or both tackles go down

It's looking very good. Top-5 is a guarantee...now maybe we can crack Top-3. Atlanta, Houston, and Minnesota have too much talent to be worse than us. They will win a few more games. Cincinnati is playing hard with Burrow and they have plenty of weapons. I'm not worried about Washington, they already beat us and will play motivated this season for Rivera. The finale at NYG will be huge...a potential franchise-changing game!

It's going to be hard for a draft pick to make this roster.
True, This teams has holes all over. DL x 2 , CB, FS, SS, LB, OT,
If we Draft Trevor. I give him a month before Cowboy fans say he Sucks
The defense well give up 60 points a game and it will be his fault- some way some how it's all on the QB
Welcome to the history of pro football...it's always been that way and it always will.

Tua has value but jones wouldn't get much imo

Can we please take either the best defensive lineman or defensive back available?

Based on what our needs look like at this moment, this is what I'd hope for:

1st Round: Best DL/S/CB
2nd Round: DL/CB/S (whichever wasn't selected with the 1st)
3rd Round: OT
4th Round: RB/S/LB
5th Round: LB/DL
6th Round: OL
7th Round: P/RB/OL
Team needs MLB in the worst way.

Only a complete idiot would go offense with a top 5 pick.
Well if we get the number 1 pick guess we will be idiots and you will be smart as you think you are online. It doesnt matter though because your football boo thing Dak is definitely gone then.

Yeah, Jones is gone if the Giants get a high pick. But if Tua just plays fairly good the Dolphins might make the playoffs. But I agree that is probably why they're playing him now. I just think they'll be too far back to be in line to trade up.

I think that we end up with pick #2. At least right now, this team does not resemble a team that can win another game.

As long as the Cowboys are playing with effort the rest of the way, I think Dallas wins another 2 games at the very least if Dalton is healthy. That's at least a realistic prediction. So where would 4-12 put us?

I'm targeting one of two players:

Penei Sewell to groom as Tyron’s future successor, as well as serve as the team’s swing tackle in the short term.

Micah Parsons....because Jaylon Smith.
