Nolan also kind of dumbed it down as well. I wouldn't say they're "clicking" as much as they're making adjustments.
I think Nolan realized finally that "read and react" doesn't work with players that have been coached by Rod Marinelli for a half decade. We also had no variety in our coverages Sunday which made Romo lose his mind on the broadcast.
and as I said "kid" you don't know the reason he was off, it could've been the defense why he was off.
Bucky is certainly overreacting due to defense playing against a flat, unmotivated offense.Clicking?
That was like running on all cylinders?
Yikes.
If Nolan had a history of great D then I think you could write it off as just 2020I'm not sold now. One game does not change a season and one season does not prove greatness or success. I'm glad you are on board there Bucky, but then again, I remember you being on board with Marinelli and Richard.
Nothing against Brooks but I don't necessarily buy into any of the talking heads. Time is the ultimate judge and jury.
Since nobody pressured him on the two deep throws I'm referring to, I doubt it, kid.
first off the Ref leant helping hand to that 4th QTR, you know it and we all saw it..the offense didnt score a point in the 4th and had an INT and other infractions , then add in Diggs injurys and there your answer to the 4th but having the lead for 56 mins against PB who was 7-0 and came in 14point faves in our house..
Id say it was a good showing ..
Lot of kids in here...
It's like kindergarten.Lot of kids in here...
I don't know how many people think the defense is good. I think most just saw that they played well against the Steelers, and think there may be reasons for that within the team, such as the return and implementation of certain players, and the dismissal of others, combined with the possibility that they're finally starting to understand the scheme. I don't necessarily believe in that last one, but I can't say it's not a possibility, however, the other reasons seem pretty plausible. The fact that people are willing to believe in the defense after one game against an offense that has honestly not looked great all year is part of the reason that fans always end up disappointed. The Cowboys defense is not good. They are not well coached, they do not have good players, and they are just all around terrible. One decent game does not fix that.

If I remember, some fans/posters weren't sold after the Eagles game. Let's what they do against the Steelers they said, well?
I think we can throw Nolan's pink slip away.....lol

Sorry, ruffian, but "pretty well" doesn't cut it. Not in the NFL.its been more then ONE game
they played pretty well 2nd half of the Washington game as well, eagle game was solid..so it slowly built from Historically bad to mediocre..
getting back few players has helped i mean still TOs by the offense has to stop because they would even be better,..
