Skins, Egirls and Gnats again. How many wins out of those 3 games? Then the Bengals, Ravens and Vikes. How many wins there? Missing one game somewhere.

Tankathon has us at 3. Draft order goes by strength of schedule. Since Cowboys and Giants are in the same division there schedule is identical except for two games. Cowboys have Vikings and Falcons (6-12 combined). Giants have Bucs and Bears (11-7 combined record). Cowboys are deemed the worse team because they have an identical record with an easier schedule.

Agreed. I relied on NFL league wide standings where we are ahead of the Giants based upon head to head. I was wrong.
Everyone has a different opinion about tanking, but the Cowboys looked way better today than they have all season. Gallimore, Randy Gregory, LVE, Diggs, Aldon Smith look like players we can really build with on D and the offense was juiced with Dak on the field. The Oline should be back intact next year and they have 4 comp picks in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th rounds respectively. Having the 2nd or 3rd overall pick is important because I think there will be a bidding war for Justin Fields and I think it would benefit the Cowboys more to trade the pick & add draft picks and have the flexibility to move around in the draft to get players they really want/need. I can really see this being one of those 3-13 to 13-3 teams in one year (similar to the 2015/2016 Cowboys).

we may win 7 of the last 8 and win the division.
Anyway no way we will get a Top 5 pick. Probably in the range of 8 to 16, unless we win the division. Then the best will be 19.
in what world are we going to be out of the top 5 picks? ESPN has us at an 8% chance for the FIRST pick alone. We still have to play the Ravens, Bengals, Giants, Eagles, Vikings, 49ers and WFT. We will lose against the Ravens, Vikes, 49ers. Maybe just maybe we win against the WFT and Philly if they play like they did last game. That’s 4-12 and likely last in the division. We will be top 5, we will miss out of Fields and Lawrence. Everyone needs to get that out of their heads. We are rolling with Dak. We will draft either Sewell, a LB, or Safety.
The Eagles are 2-4-1. I honestly think the Cowboys could just win the three division games and make the playoffs at 5-11. That's how bad this division is.in what world are we going to be out of the top 5 picks? ESPN has us at an 8% chance for the FIRST pick alone. It’s not about the top 5 pick. It is the ability to trade that pick and get more talent. Also we get top picks at the the beginning of each round. We actually draft well for the most part.
I’ll do 5 years, 10 is too much work.
Kyler Murray, Nick Bosa, Saquon Barkley, Denzel Ward, Myles Garrett, Goff, Wentz, Zeke, Joey Bosa, Jalen Ramsey, Amari Cooper, Brandon Sherff
Zeke: A declining player after a couple of years in the league.
Jaylon: Possibly the worst starter on the team.
Collins: In Las Vegas. Not worth a re-sign.
Tapper: Bust. Out of the league.
Prescott: Enough said.
Brown: Depth corner.
Frazier: Special teamer now in Miami.
Jackson: Camp body out of the league.
Gathers: Ditto.
That's called "knocking it out of the park", kids.
From my seat it looked like we took a fastball between the eyes.
He only listed the players he felt lived up to expectationsUmmmmm.....top 5 of 5 years would be 25 players. But I’ll play.
If we redraft those guys you listed- only a few of them still get taken that high.
It’s usually that way. That’s the point.
As a Cowboy fan, it would be a massive embarrassment to win the NFCE with a 5-11 record. I would hope that MM and Jerry could find some way to refuse the title. I wouldn’t want the shame of a 5-11 record being recognized as the winner of the division .The Eagles are 2-4-1. You want more top-notch high drafted picks and expensive off lineman ehh?If we end up with the 3rd pick, I want Penei Sewell.
